i sold my expedition! got rid of it. i bought a toyota sequoia instead. will be leaving now. met some great people on this forum. thanks everyone especially polaris for all the help!

the issue is the old spark plug wasn't gapped properly. so it must have been real tight, and finally blew. the new spark plug I gapped it properly.
and now its a beast....
hey Polaris you are right, the spark plug blew out and messed up the coil pack, the whole coil pack dialogged. I popped in a new spark plug and coil pack and now it runs even better than ever,
started up the car and it sounds like crap.
the car sounds like a harley. service engine light on. and idles roughly. also loss of power. might be spark plug issues, might be exhaust manifold leak. the spark plugs thread is messed up on 2 spark plugs...
going to sell it now...
OK so I fixed it. it wasnt a vacuum leak. it was the MAF sensor being dirty. I sprayed with the maf cleaner. waited till dry and fired it up. cel is gone now. all is well.

how often do you change your oil and what type/brand oil do you use?
I only changed my expy oil once, the first time I bought it a several months ago. put about 1,400 miles so far. i used 5w20 gtx
