    Thanks both of you for your help. I do have the hd tow package, at least according to the window sticker. There is an aux radiator of some kind in addition to the normal one for the engine and I have the 7 pin and 4 pin trailer connections, as well as the pre-wire for the brake controller...

    Finally decided to sign up for this site. Lots of good info out here. Thanks to everyone for helping out. I have a 2012 Expedition Limited. Haven't done much with it except for taking the kid back and forth to college with all his stuff, but just bought a camper so will be doing some towing.
