Mystery vacuum line.
Where is this line supposed to go? I recently replaced the power steering pump nd had pulled the intermediate steering shaft so chances are I dislodged it from where it belongs. But I can't find that place. It has a little clip on it so it appears to clip to the brake line there. the line in...- Nathan Smith

Navigator Power steering problem
This was the problem. It was the top joint though. Rather than pay $300 to replace it I took it out, cleaned it up really well and soaked it in Deep Creep overnight. It's not like brand new but the steering is perfect.- Nathan Smith

Navigator Power steering problem
If you have a navigator with a 5.4 and you need a power steering pump. Do yourself a favor and just buy a new car.- Nathan Smith

Navigator Power steering problem
I am not the original owner. but if the pump were really not working wouldn't the steering be always adversely affected? is there any way the rack could cause these symptoms?- Nathan Smith

Navigator Power steering problem
So I have an '03 Navigator. The power steering is occasionally weak. It's not so hard as if it was not working at all but "sticky". I tried disconnecting the return line anf turning the engine over to flush the system with new fluid but nothing is moving. so I though perhaps I have the wrong...- Nathan Smith

Navigator question
I don't seem to see a Navigator section. I did read a VERY old thread with mention of creating one but If that happened I don't see it. Anyway; I have an '03 Navigator with the 4V 5.4. I have a pretty bad rattle on startup that goes away after about 2 - 3 seconds. It sounds like really loose...- Nathan Smith

So I ended up getting a bad Miss on cylinder 3 and 7 and and decided it wasn't worth any more effort on my 97 expy. so i picked up an '03 Navigator. 1998 Instrument cluster diagram?

hood interchange
I put an 04 navigator hood on mine. but that also involves the header panel, headlights, bumper and fenders. that stuff will all bolt right on though with ever so slight modification for the fender mounting...spacers because it's higher on the sides.- Nathan Smith

mirror wiring
As far as I know they'll all bolt right on...from Get 1 right up to the current model. Speaking from experience I can only say that the gen 1 and gen 2 Navigator mirrors will work on a gen 1 and gen 2 Expedition. Beyond that All I can say is that the Wiring harness for a gen 2 is different...- Nathan Smith

Spark plugs
Well I have pulled the dash out to swap in an '04 navigator dash anyway...the blend door itself isn't the issue. I replaced the blend door already it is now the actuator that isn't functioning. Since I removed the radio amplifier. It is not impossible that there is a blown fuse but Haven't...- Nathan Smith
