    I have a question, on your Timberline do you have to use the power cable to get CarPlay to run? Have a 22 Timberline and that is the only way to get it to launch. On our 22 F150 with the 12” screen it detects the phone and launches without making the hard connection.

    I’d video each event so you can show the tech what is happening. Typically they will tell you if it does not occur while in service they cannot do anything about it. secondly I’d record the events in case you need to take it above the dealer for resolution.

    Preparing for doing first oil change myself

    What oil filter wrench is everyone using? Have a 22 Timberline where you need to remove the access panel on the skid plate to gain access to the filter. Filter is set back and difficult to get a good grip with just about any style of wrench. Had an 18 2 wheel drive and did not have this issue.

    Would love some folks thoughts on this, regarding oil changes on this engine.

    No one has really commented on oil types or weight which is interesting. After the first 3,000 miles I switched to Mobil 1 synthetic. Are you still recommending frequency of oil changes to be 5K even with synthetic?

    Timberline Caliper Covers

    Ordered a set of caliper cover painted in a color close to the tangerine trim on the Timberline. These are MGP covers. I think they turned out nice. Super easy to install on a Friday evening in SoUtah Texas with the heat index at 106 at 7pm.
