Not all mechanics are lazy; there are still some of us that go above and beyond and do our best to take care of customers. But if you do suspect they are not performing the work they say they are, you can keep your local workshop in check by taking a paint pen and making small marks on the tires...
Mines been off since a week after we picked it up. Chunk of ice came off a truck and my wife swerved to hit it(I know she tried to miss it but she totally Pac-Man‘d it) so I removed it the next day when I put it up on the lift to assess the damages.
I’d use this opportunity as a justification for installing a 6.7L powerstroke or the new 6.2L gasser but I can’t help myself with these things. LOL As for which engines, you should be able to use one from 2018+ F150 or Expy/Navi. The big change was the addition of port injection on these newer...
We were in the same boat when looking at our next vehicle. Hemmed and hawed between an F250SD and a nearly identical F150 sans the diesel. Had a 99 F350SD and missed not having it for the last few years when picking up cars and towing them home but the it didn't happen enough that it was a...

Ford has a serious lack of talent in their user experience department. Its not like the vehicle sucks to drive but simple things are a real pain. Like making something called a FAMILY entertainment system something that can not be operated by a parent in the front passenger seat for their young...
Correct, if you use it as a shelf, the first time you hit the brakes, everything slides forward and off the shelf. Far from worthless but not as versitile in its use on the MAX as it is in the SWB with the rear seats up.
Guys, let’s be civil and respectful of each other’s opinions. If the dialogue continues with personal attacks and veers farther from the original topic, this thread will be closed.
And for everyone else, Happy holidays!
Definitely not that useful as a shelf in the MAX but we flip it up and use it as a fence at the rear when getting groceries so my wife doesn’t have stuff roll out on her as she opens the tailgate when parked at an incline in our driveway.
