Increasing the rpm does not decrease the whistle, I think as the rpm's go up the whistle increases but its hard to tell because the motor drowns the whistle. Yesterday I was in search of the vac leak. No luck. The hose on the PCV is new, correctly connected, also looks like a new boot on it too. I was looking at the hose that comes out the top of the air intake where it meets the throttle body. It snakes around the rear of the motor thru a small...- red85k100rs

Hi everyone, I just got a 2001 Expedition EB 5.4 On my way home I stopped for fuel I was checking under the hood and I noticed a whistle coming from near the rear of throttle body.
