That said, my wife's check engine light came on tonight so age went by Advance and they pulled the codes. Found the front 2 O2 sensors need replacing. Are these easy to change? Is there a sticky...

    Plastidip

    I 'dipped' my wheels on my other car last Thanksgiving and they still look good. I have even had a new set of tires installed since then. I would suggest 5 coats. You will use about 1 can per rim. Don't forget to do a couple coats on the back side.

    Painted EB Trim

    Thanks for the feedback and 24 thanks for the PS and pics of your rig! Gives me a good look at the possibility. I think it may look good and hey, it's not permanent with PD. Yours is only the 3rd set of rims I have seen. There is a guy here in my neck of the woods with a set on his black Escalade.

Does anyone have pics of our Gen 2 that they have painted, plasti dipped or vinyl wrapped the EB tan trim? Even more specifically black on a red truck? I think it would look really good on ours...

    Betsy's makeover. plastidip central.

    The stuff works great and holds up really well. I did my other car's wheels about 10 months ago and it still looks great. I did 4 - 5 coats on each wheel. I have even had new tires mounted since then with a couple rotations too. I'd like to see how your grill looks in black. My Volvo grill...

    Gave it a bath after a nice trip to the beach and playing in the sand. Not bad looking for an '03. We even averaged 17 mpg on the way there and back. Not while there though... I hope everyone had an enjoyable and safe Labor Day!
