    Maybe I did....could not load map after 3.4 upgrade. could do latest app version but map install gives me Map_err_003..... Any idea? so for now all works except map is "bricked"....

    haha...of course...I meant the zip....haha....osx util extracted fine but never finished upgrade (at least not during a 350mile trip)....I tried other utils, stuffit and unarchiver and both complained about corrupt file....

    Eventually I hit another problem. After downloading, extracting the tarball either with stuffit or Unarchiver, it complained about a broken archive....not with the standard osx zip tool tough....I gave up and dropped 40 bucks for their usb stick...lets see

    SYNC 3 - which version are you at?

    My experience, and it might be wrong: a) first it uploads the binaries to the system and reports "update installed", but I think its only transferred and upon next restart it actually installs it. Thats why you first saw old version and then later new....just my guess b) 19149 fixed the Waze...
