I posted in another thread but there are components that needed to be resoldered in my case, I'll see if I can take it apart and post pics of where you need to look.
There are some components on the board that have the solder break, I fixed mine by pulling the board off and resoldering, I'll have to see if I can find the guide I used and I'll post it for you.
I had picked up some TIS 22" rims that had some Pirelli Scorpios on them but I never liked the low profile on them (305/40/R22). Today I was finally able to afford some Nitto Terra Grapplers, and even though the profile isn't that much more (305/45/R22) they seem to fill the wheel well so much...
How well would Plastidip hold up on rims? I've thought about taking my rims and having them coated but I wasn't sure how well it would hold up over time, or if there were better options out there (like bedliner material).
Thanks :D
Only problem with mine now externally is the rust on the doors and underneath :( Not looking forward to finding out how much that will be to fix.
Greetings,
I've been having this strange issue where there is a stutter or intermittent lowering of power (I have a hard time describing the feeling, it's a barely perceptible change in pull from the engine) when maintaining speed. When accelerating you don't feel it for the most part, it...
Here are some close ups, the lighting sucks, apparently some clouds moved in since I was last outside. I would be scared to go any wider with these rims, the back tires only have a few inches between the rubber and the frame rail.
Sure thing, I'll go take a few more close ups so you can see how they fit.
RE: the nerf bars, I'm thinking about getting these, I like the matte black look myself:

I think when these tires wear out I might go for something with a little more profile, I bought the set of 4 with tires for $800. TIS 22"s and Pirelli rubber (305/40/18).
Now I need to fix the rust on the doors :(
I'm looking at a set of rims with 305/50R18's. The tires are almost new, he's selling the set for $500. The bolt pattern is the older style, so I'd need 1.5" adapters to make them fit my lugs. I'm trying to find out if this has a remote chance of fitting or if I should pass on the rims.
I bought a 2000 Expy and I'm wondering if there is a simple way to tell if it's been lifted at all? I've been comparing it to other Expeditions I see with the same body style and mine seems to sit higher, or have more space between the tire and wheel well.
I know some work has been done to...
