i have 2nd row bucket seats in my expedition. I wanted a bench seat, but couldn’t find one with everything else I wanted. Is there an after market seat that I can put between the 2 buckets just for when I need it?

I'm thinking about making one myself. wood base painted black or covered in speaker box carpet, take seat bottom off of something else or make one from vinyl/leather upholstery. Might just sit it there or bolt it in or put bolts into corners and stick through floor holes and nuts on bottom, can add seat belt if want to.I even think some of the little curved gaming chairs might almost fit or at least give ideas.
If I were doing it, I'd measure and see if another captains chair would fit well. Then I'd make a quick detach mount out of a factory base. I don't think the lap belt would be an issue. The factory has a center lap belt for the rear seat right? Just use one of those.

If your interior is "Brunello" we're going to be in a bidding war when one pops up! =)
I've read that the armrest have to come off the existing buckets for this to fit. Should just bolt in.
