quick question

same offset, same size, same pattern, same pressure sensor...only difference is the lip flange on the mounting edge...the f150 is 7.5jx, the Expo is 8.5jx

these should work? any comments on concerns? thanks00O0O_a78jsYhcnyb_1200x900.jpg 00O0O_a78jsYhcnyb_1200x900.jpg

F-150 wheels are not required to hold the same loads as the Expedition. Worst case scenario is they crack under Expectations higher loads.

I believe that the wheels are similar, but the center hubs on the 150 rims are shallower so the trim cap does not fit on w/o shortening the axe stubs. As far as load capability, I don't see that as even remotely accurate--you can load a whole lot more in the bed of a pickup than you can inside an expedition.

I was thinking that about the load rating as well, but the expedition appears to have a higher rear GAWR. A quick look for the expedition is 4200 lbs. The highest I saw for the F150 was 4050 lbs. I did not do an in depth search. If it was me, I would at least look into the wheel load rating.

Yes, they absolutely may be shallower (I know some are).

I was looking at doing this and everyone said the axle shafts were too long so the center caps wouldn't go one without modifications.

I ended up just buying new wheels from Tire Rack.

There are a few trucks running around with Raptor wheels. Apparently its pretty easy to make room for the caps. Might take a little encouragement from the grinder but shouldn't be too bad... As far as I have seen they bolt up no problem. Just the caps... at least I hope that is all I will need.

Let us know how it goes

it is... super easy. just a quick trim and the caps fit. those wheels being narrower won't give you quite the same ride. at 20 id want an 8.5-9.5 wide wheel. i put raptor 17s on mine and with the tires i chose i know I'm good.

I have a set of current gen F150 platinum wheels with winters. Does anyone know if they would fit the 19 Expo or would require modifications?
