Main display starts at "Towing" display now

Hi everyone,

I have a 2019 Expy Platinum MAX with the HD towing package. Normally when I start it, the display returns to the last selection that I had up from the previous drive. Now it always comes back to the Towing > Towing Status when I start it up. This problem coincided with the last time I hauled my travel trailer. When I go deeper into the Towing menu it recognizes that the trailer is no longer connected.
Anyone else have this or similar problems, or more importantly a cure?

It’s kind of weird as the display said there was no trailer detected. But indeed, I did go into “active trailer” and sure enough it was set. So I put “no trailer” and Voila! Success!

Shane, thanks for the tip on having the truck in the “on” position when disconnecting.

A fun side note to this, as long as you are in this mode, your vehicle mileage will be counted toward your trailer as well which will muck up your trailer service intervals if you use mileage for maintenance.
