Yeah, I was sort of suspicious, but the remotes seem to work fine except for the lack of the light.

I received my 2023 Expedition Limited on March 3rd. Same thing, neither fob leds work. I asked the salesman and he was useless and didn't have a clue. I had to switch dealerships due to poor service from the one that I purchase the vehicle. The new dealership service person said that the fobs only light red when the vehicle fails to start. That doesn't sound right to me. So booth still don't light when remote starting. Anyone know of a real solution?

Frustrating. I traded in my 2020 Expedition Max Limited for a 2023 Expedition Limited (non-Max). I wanted something brand new that would fit in the garage a little better... maybe stop scraping the walls when I back out. I really liked the feedback communication from the LED lights on the FOB. Disappointed they went away.
Someone is going to crush it in the aftermarket by making all of these items that were deleted!

I never even realized there was a light on it. Never paid close enough attention, I guess.
