control DVD player? Losing my mind?

Hi everyone - I am ready to jump into the Expedition world. I have fallen in love the the 2019-22 Max Platinum and Limited's. My question is, and I think I am losing my mind. . How/where do you control the dual headrest DVD players? I have young kids that are still in car seats and can't control the systems if they are not able to be controlled from the front somehow. Is there an aftermarket option that has the player you can install upfront somewhere? Thank you all in advance for any input you can add!

They have remotes for them. Should be able to order from Ford.

They however cannot be controlled from front system.

You can use the app to mirror a video.

If you search RSE for Rear Seat Entertainment you'll find several threads on it that discuss the quirks. It's not a very good or intuitive system.

You can download the RSE supplement from the Ford owner's website.

Most people give up and install an Amazon Fire Stick.

Ya the ford sync system is completely separate from the rear seat system.

There is the mirroring app mentioned but I personally didn't like it.

I installed an SD card with tons of movies and shows and let the kids pick with remote.
