They will notify you when to make an appointment after parts become available. Make sure you are the owner of reference at the Ford dealer for your VIN. Did you receive a letter from Ford on this? If you purchased it new you are the owner of record. If you purchased it second hand then you need to contact Ford to update the records. When I purchased my first Navigator at one year old I received an extra year and more miles of bumper to bumper warrantee based on the manufacture date for a $50 transfer fee.
