Not to mention that he is comparing the top of the line Denali to the 375hp engine as opposed to the 400hp Platinum. Coming from driving an Escalade for 10 years to the Expy (granted the Caddy didn't have the 10spd and updates), at no point has the Expy ever 'struggled'.
It was painful to...
Actually there is, if you look at the front passenger side top there's a notch out to run your cables out, use it all the time
Edit: unless you mean the sliding one in the front that has the phone charger built in, but if the other then my statement is correct
I have noticed an annoyingly long time for switching from drive to reverse as well. I hate it because I always back into my driveway. It's almost like I come to a complete stop, shift to reverse, then wait, then you think it's in so give it a little gas, then it kicks in
I know it's not an Expy, but racers are gonna RACE!! Don't matter what it is!

I just leave one of these plugged into the socket in the center console with a cord for wife's iphone, and one for my Samsung plugged in already
There's even a notch by the passenger side to route the cords through. Then I usually throw my phone in the little storage part by my right leg.
He may be an "idiot", but what he is saying is true. On my Escalade they supposedly were going to have to drop the tank to change it. Would have been more than $240 labour. I still top off, but I fill at the slowest setting and usually just round it up. The problem is when you are trying to put...
Well I think you're pretty swell Loki! And if a person actually reads what you wrote, I would agree with your statements. I have had the 5.3 Tahoe and a 6.2 Escalade (although only the 403hp and no 10 speed) and although I never did 0-60 tests, the passing power of my Expy is quite impressive. I...
Thanks, no wasn't low fuel, had filled up earlier, from the same place I always do, 91 octane. Had been driving for probably 1.25 hours already. Had run into the same situation when I first started (passing 4 cars) with no CEL. A family of 5 cars (I was between the 4th and 5th) had stopped and...
Well, just over 10k kms and got a check engine light come on. Plugged in my code reader and it said P008a. Now it came on when I floored it to pass 4 vehicles in a row that were all fluctuating their speeds from the limit to 15 km/h under (it's a national park, lots of looky loos!) (80km/h speed...
I got mine customized for straighter drives and less wind resistance, shops been around a long time, done literally MILLIONS of vehicles, it's called Mother Nature, they throw balls of ice at it for a dimpling effect, like a golf ball, they call it "Hail" . Must have been a big sale because lots...
I kept one of these Trailer Aid's in my boat, luckily never had to use it, but it was there.

I've thought about them, the good ones seem pretty well built, I was looking at the VLED's brand. I had put all their bulbs in my Escalade and was very happy, just haven't gotten around to having the money to spend on it yet, wife is still thinking she wants new summer rims and tires.
It does come out, but this is what it looks like without it. Granted I also have the cover from the door strike off, but here it is for anyone that is wondering
Why did you have to bring that up!!!! Haha so frigging annoying. My Expy is parked right beside our kitchen window and everyday I look out at that wavy warped mess of welds and am disgusted that they would leave it like that!
If ever you get a chance, it'd be intriguing to see what kind of difference it would make in lighting up a stretch of highway in pitch black! A regular headlights vs with light bar, like my snowblower comparison
I have my Thule one stored off the frame. Storage definitely can be a pain. I've only used it once! Haha I don't have a garage, so I kept it at my parents. Had the frame in the rafters of the garage (dang heavy getting it up or out of there!) and the box on a shelf. Now we keep it at the inlaws...
Or when you want to put a couple leashes on your dogs because sometimes they just don't feel like listening to you telling them to wait! It was a deal breaker for us !
It actually isn't, here is a snap shot of the window sticker of one my dealer was going to get me that didn't have it (yes it is a Stealth) the HD Towing is "included" in the convenience pkg
This makes more sense now! Haha, I clicked on the link and it went to the Amazon one, then I saw you saying the auction was a knockoff and was baffled! I don't use tapatalk, so that could be why. Crazy that they would hijack s forum posted link!
