I can never get the handsfree to work! I kept trying in the driveway (luckily I was backed in so the neighbourhood didn't see me doing the hokey pokey with my Expy)! Tried the "straight kick in" , the "wanderer" , the "low and slow" , even the "backside donkey kick" ! Damn thing just doesn't...
Interestingly, if you press the "ridge" right around the button (the right side) right after you hit the button, it usually works. If your button is already 'stuck' then you might have to push the side first to get it to pop up, then hit the button, then hit the ridge again. 80% of the time...
So sorry to keep beating this topic to death, but has anyone who had this problem that took it to the dealer to be fixed know if they just replaced the switch and if it's been working ever since or not?
Reason I ask is my dealer is small and has only sold I think 4 or 5 of these, and 3 were in...
So, anyone?
I've found that I can press / move the little plastic piece surrounding the button and usually it will pop out. Thought about just trying to pop off the little 'surround' and see if it just needs a little shave of the opening or something.
My Escalade had a "smart" plug that only allowed the power to pass through it to the block heater if it was colder than -20C. I was told, plus read on the forums, that if you cut it off and put a new end on and plugged in when it was warmer than -20C that it may throw an error code, something to...
Our puppy likes the buckets! :)
Our old gal doesn't always get along with him, he can be a pain and with her cancer taking its toll on her, she doesn't always have patience for it. So they are separated while driving. I am well aware that this isn't the safest method, but for now it's what...
You can pick out rims and tires, it's up to $3000 I believe. I bought mine before that promo started, I got mine on the "employee pricing" promo they just before that.
Few things to add,
1. Have the heated seat and seat back be separate! My Escalade I could choose either both, or just the seat back, which is all you want on a long drive.
2. The ability to change the ambient light is awesome, but ya forgot one....
3. I can with the push of one button I...
Painted the calipers red this weekend. Was quite a pain, literally! Rolling and contorting on a cement floor all weekend was not enjoyable! Haha would have been SO much nicer to remove the calipers and do it on a work bench (not to mention a much better job!) , but I'm not mechanically inclined...
Thanks! The Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 SUV 275/55R20
I agree, wanted 18's, but the wife liked the look of these Asanti rims better than the 18's we found, and the smallest they came in was 20". We figured up here in Canada we have them on for probably 5-6 months of the year, might as well get...
Well my winter tires and rims came in! Wasn't really wanting to drop another load of dough on top of the load I just spent on the vehicle, but such is life in a cold climate! Only 1300 kms on it so far, anyway, here's some pics (not the best shots)
How about this, my brother took his truck in to get the oil changed while he was at work. He's been busy so asked how much for them to run a power cord into the passenger foot well for an interior heater ( gets cold up in northern Manitoba!) . They said $75 (Cdn), he said sure, get it done...
We had thought about trying to run our 22's for the winter with the factory Hankooks, but don't think that's going to happen!! Wife missed our Caddy with the first snowfall! So looking at getting 20" rims and tires, Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 SUV. LOVED our R2's we had on the Caddy. Maybe run the...
Well, thought I'd try taking out the cargo holder and see how that works, it doesn't really. Well at least not easily.
There is some sensor in the back, underneath the cargo tray, you can see the connector by the latch point. Not sure if it is a keyfob sensor or what.
Anyway, back to the...
