    I thought fog lights are ONLY to be used when there is fog outside hence the name "fog light". No need to have them all the time on.

    i have 2011 EL and I wanted to do some maintenance. I went to a dealer and got 10 quarts of motorcraft tranny fluid and filter and will do tranny drain and fill (sorry not big on flushes). I asked dealer about fuel filter and he said it is maintenance free and does not need to be replaced???? I...

    I have weathertech for all three rows and cargo. I threw mine oem the first day i got expo in garbage weathertech or nothing.

    Electric swing out running boards

    I have them on my 2011 limited and would probably like to swap them for regular ones. I have EL version tuxedo black. Those stupid power running boards break a lot and very expensive to fix. And once they break and are out all the time they look ugly like a floating device.

    Its just sad that $50000 truck and year 2011 does not have factory projectors :-(. My other car is 1993 Lexus GS and it has projectors plus it 20 years old.

    So basically dont do nothing until 100K miles then just do full flush??? I always liked 30K miles drain and fill method and used it on my other cars and never had tranny problems. Oh well will listen to your expert opinion thanks

    I had 2007 that I put 350K miles no major problems. Traded it for 2011 EL expo in october and already have 40K miles in 5 months no problems so far.

    transsmision questions...

    Flush at 100K is a usually big no no even if dealer says so. I will do drain and fill every 30K miles due to flushing tranny has been proven to kill tranny too.

    Thank you for your quick reply. Does 1997 Expedition have same transmission as my 2011 Expedition??? I dont even have dipstick to check fluid level.

    I bought brand new Expedition Limitied EL in october and I almost have 40000 miles on it already. What should I do about transmission fluid? how often should I drain it or should I flushed it. Should I use Ford fluid?

    Who has the most miles on the odometer of their expedition?

    Well I bought my 2011 EL Limited in spetember and in 4 months I have almost 30000 miles. Will probably put over 100K miles per year
