    DVD player help.

That does not look like the stock DVD I have in my '06, and as far as I know, the '05 should be the same. Unfortunately, I do not know the brand Ford uses.

    redneck rocker panel fix

Nice! Just be aware that the foam has the potential to retain moisture, and can make the rust worse.

Rear entertaiment system without factory radio

I retained the rear DVD with an aftermarket head unit (Kenwood). I have a write-up on here explaining what is needed. Just have to splice some wires above the DVD unit to get the sound for the headphones. Just search "Kenwood 5140 install" and it should come up.

    Help cleaning extremely dirty rims

Looks like corrosion spots, not brake dust. You should try the aluminum polish or chrome polish. I'm not 100% sure, but these rims might be plastic cladded chrome like most of Ford's current "Chrome" rims. Just be careful not to scrub too hard if they are.

    Rear strut replacement

I believe the 2nd gens are 30mm, but not 100% sure if they carried that over to the 3rd gens.

A Clunk in the Steering System

It could also be an end link. As the wheel turns, the sway bar will take some stress and rotate a bit. It's possible the end link is near or at it's end.

FS: 2nd Gen 3/2 Lift Kit

They should fit any second gen (03-06).

    So here's a new one...

Could be vaccuum related. Under load the vaccuum will increase and maybe there is a loose line that goes to the blend door or heater controls that is not allowing the correct flow of vaccuum to that control and it closes.

    Removing/Hiding Scratches on Alloy rims...

You are going to have to wet sand the clear coat, and possibly respray the clear if the scratches are too deep.

    Removing the 20....40/20/40

There shouldn't be any issue with this. As long as the outer seats retain their seat belt anchor, you are good.

    2005 lift kit

Most kits available will give a 3/2 lift. Like tallsville said, you would have to find 2 kits and piece the 2/2 together. If you are interested, I have a 3/2 kit for sale in the FS section.

FS: 2nd Gen 3/2 Lift Kit

I have decided against lifting the Expy, so I am selling the lift kit I purchased off a member here. The kit is new, but I don't know the brand. I can send/post pictures if needed, but it appears to be well made. Asking only what I paid for it, $75. PM me if interested.

New Struts and Lift kit parts have arrived! Need Tire size help!

From what I have read here, with a 3/2 lift, a 35" tire will rub slightly unless a little trimming is done. 33's are the recommended unless you really want to fill the wheel well, and then 35's with a little trimming of the lower corner of the fender flare.

New Struts and Lift kit parts have arrived! Need Tire size help!

Roughly $550 for everything. It was $400 for the 4 control arms, $100 for the outer tie rod ends, and $30-50 for the end links (can't remember as I bought these a while ago).

New Struts and Lift kit parts have arrived! Need Tire size help!

While you are in there installing your lift kit, I would also do the upper and lower control arms/ball joints. I have 103K on my '06, and I just replaced everything up front and it rides like a new car again. New upper and lower control arms with new ball joints and bushings, new outer tierod...

    Buyer recommendations?

2 Big things that come to mind for me are when were the plugs changed, and has the Fuel Pump module been replaced? If the plugs haven't been changed on a 2005-06, it can be costly to have a dealer do them (upwards of $600). The fuel pump module has a tendency to go out due to corrosion. A...
