Car got keyed, is it worth calling insurance?

since the key mark appears to only be on your trim, i would say no. the trim could be replaced or repainted for cheap. I would wait until you need the whole truck repainted, then i would maybe look into "an insurance claim".

    HID conversion

there is a mod that you can do so you are able to turn on fogs without the headlights. cant remember where i found it but pretty much it just involves taking the switch apart, filing down some of the switch with a dremel, and putting it all back together.

you can get a road armor bumper for our trucks. i called them directly and they do make them. you get the one for the f150, but if you cant handle the price of $1K, you surely dont want a road armor bumper. they start out at like 1500! hahah. i do like their bumpers, i almost bought one...

    Going bigger on a 98...

you are obviously not new to the offroad world. as for your tow vehicle, i would do like you said with the TT and a 2 or 3 inch spacer. But I would not try to stuff a whole lot of tire in there. leave room for payload! haha.

    Stable-eye-er

it did initially, but the new wobble was due to something else. never did figure it out. changed idler arm and it still wobbled, but now it is gone. need to reinstall stabilizer tomorrow. steering feels loose without it.
