    Can you get a small vacuum tube/hose into the void ? I've used a small shop vac with a small tube taped to the vacuum hose end and fished things out of tight spots like that. .

    Yeah, somebody has done a hack job on your system. You'll probably have to search for another '03 or '04 in a salvage yard that hasn't been butchered and pull from that. I don't know what else to tell you. .

    In your emergency road kit it's a good idea to carry a couple of 5/8" brass tee and barbed splice fittings. Or if you don't want to deal with replacing the entire hose assembly you can just replace the factory plastic piece with the brass piece and some hose clamps and never worry about it...

    Is it a 4WD Expy ? That's a previous owner's hack job. Do you see a vacuum supply line ( hard plastic tube... ) going into the firewall just below the PCM computer ? You should see the hot water valve vacuum control line paired up sharing the same firewall grommet. But whatever you have...

    You don't need to tape over those two known spots. Just look for any other leaks, there shouldn't be smoke from anywhere else. .

    As strange as it seems, yes, it is normal for smoke to pass through that vent hole in the EGR valve. It confuses a lot of people. You'll also notice some escaping from the idle air control valve vent. .

    They're all horrible ! Do you have a HVAC gauge set so you can check your system pressures ? Or, if nothing else get one of those Pro A/C kits from Walmart so you can at least see the low side pressure. .

    Yes, if you have dual zone climate control, the driver's side blend door actuator is located at the bottom of the HVAC box, just in front of the center console. .

    Are you the original owner ? How many miles are on it ? How old is the fuel pump ? Can you do a fuel pressure test at the schrader valve on the fuel rail ? Should see 45-55 psi .

    Looks more like your A/C evaporator exploded .... The airbag module is all metal. It would blow out toward the passenger's face, and that airbag dash cover would be gone. Who's your A/C man ? Your picture ...2104 looks like the evaporator has left the chat .... .

    Yes, yours has the tow package. You'll find the plug for the brake module behind the right knee bolster, just look up under the dash. It'll have the heavy duty blue and red wires in it. Trailer Brake Controller for Navigator .
