They look better then mine ever will, but I rather spend money on performance instead of aesthetics. The amount they spent to make them look like that definitely isn't worth it. The red and black funkmaster is my favorite out of the 5. They have the funkmaster flex edition all over ebay though...
From what I've read I'm 90% sure that the 2010 will have the diesel engine as an option. I have been hearing about this since back in 2006. I wish they still had the 3 seats up front... because of the center console in the new ones I will probably never buy a new one.
Yeah 4k is a little high... I'm debating on whether to get a kit or just new rotors. I have had the same brake pads for the last 80,000 miles and whenever I take my truck in the mechanic says my pads look like new. I wish I knew what brand they were because they put out almost no dust and stop...
I have the rubber grommet in my firewall removed to run 0 gauge speaker wire through it, and with that removed you can definitely hear a difference with a K&n filter. I also took out the silencer and removed the piece that narrows down at the end of the intake tube and replaced it with a wider...
I have seen a lot of post of people recommending the Brembo brake rotors, but they are so cheap so I'm wondering if they're really that good or if I should go with something like these:

made by EBC.
I don't really care...
Painted lower trim black
Bilstein Heavy Duty Shocks
Hellwig Front Anti Sway Bar
Belltech Rear Anti Sway Bar
18" Navigator Chrome Rims
285/60/18 Nitto Terra Grappler Tires
5% tint over the factory tint
5% removed from front windows because of too many tickets
Wired for amp and Sub but...
I'll have to try and give it a hard pull, I always forget that the expedition is loaded up with pressure clips. Nice if you don't have any tools, but if they break then you're screwed
I don't want to lower my expedition at all, and as far as I know there are no springs that have higher spring rates and don't lower it any. I'm saving up for some sway bars also. I've found upgrades for both front and rear.
I've been trying to do the mod where you replace the 2 1/2 pipe with the 3" pipe on the air intake going in to the box, and I bought all the parts that I need, but I can't get the airbox detached to replace the pipe going into the sidewall. There is some kind of bolt holding it in underneath...
I got some new bilstein gas shocks, and paid about $500 for parts and installation. They definitely reduce body roll a lot, but my completely blown stock shocks took bumps and dips way better. Whenever I hit a hard dip, it feels bouncy and out of control, instead of just absorbing it(I'm using...
I wouldn't think it's worth it, but that's because I bought my 03 new, it's at 95,000 miles and there's nothing that has gone wrong that would have been covered under warranty.. and I drive my expedition hard.
The one you picked is a 4.6 and says 18mpg for freeway. My 5.4 with just a k/n air filter get 18mpg cruising in the low 60's. I think you will definitely regret not getting something more powerful after driving the 4.6 around for awhile. I have an 03 5.4 and have only had problems with the a/c...
I got some 285/60/18 Nitto Terra Grappler A/T Tires from Big O Tires. It cost a little over $900 for the tires, installation, and alignment. The tires grip much better then the BFG's I had on before. Also they are quiet and smooth. I would definitely recommend them, especially if you are...
All the peanut butter does is oil up the plastic to make it look shiny, but it's a temporary solution, and a messy one(it'd be easier to just use olive oil or peanut oil if for some reason you like using foods on your car.) If you want a fast temp solution just use a product like back to black...
I took my intake off the other day and saw that the flap going in to the carburetor has some black grime on it. I've only had my k&n for 2 weeks, and was wondering if this is letting dirt through, or if it could have happened with my old stock filter. Also how do I clean it?
For anybody else trying this, make sure you unlock all the doors before trying to program the key fob. I tried programming a new one I got, and it took me a couple tries to realize it wouldn't work with only the drivers door unlocked.
