    2010 xp rumors...

    From what I've read I'm 90% sure that the 2010 will have the diesel engine as an option. I have been hearing about this since back in 2006. I wish they still had the 3 seats up front... because of the center console in the new ones I will probably never buy a new one.

    How to I get the airbox out?

    I'll have to try and give it a hard pull, I always forget that the expedition is loaded up with pressure clips. Nice if you don't have any tools, but if they break then you're screwed

    I don't want to lower my expedition at all, and as far as I know there are no springs that have higher spring rates and don't lower it any. I'm saving up for some sway bars also. I've found upgrades for both front and rear.

    I wouldn't think it's worth it, but that's because I bought my 03 new, it's at 95,000 miles and there's nothing that has gone wrong that would have been covered under warranty.. and I drive my expedition hard.

    The one you picked is a 4.6 and says 18mpg for freeway. My 5.4 with just a k/n air filter get 18mpg cruising in the low 60's.     I took my intake off the other day and saw that the flap going in to the carburetor has some black grime on it. I've only had my k&n for 2 weeks, and was wondering if this is letting dirt through, or if it could have happened with my old stock filter. Also how do I clean it?

    Another "new owner" question on the keyless entry system

    For anybody else trying this, make sure you unlock all the doors before trying to program the key fob. I tried programming a new one I got, and it took me a couple tries to realize it wouldn't work with only the drivers door unlocked.
