Love them 3rd set already but first set on the expedition. Honestly can't really tell much of a difference from the stock 22s maybe slightly smoother even.
Pretty simple just go slowly or use knife less tape. I just cut it close and wrapped tucked it in you can also hit it with heat gun to shrink it up if you have excess.
I would go with the white if you want it to pop. Definitely white if your exp is white will look great.
How hard was it to take the grill apart to I assume paint it?
Only lift I can do would be readylift or Icon with the CCD suspension but havent really considered it much yet. Uploaded a pic of more down the side as well.
I had the 22s and honestly even with the 18s there isnt much of a difference but that might just be from running a load E tire so probably just as stiff of a setup but I wouldn't call either a harsh ride nothing close to what my ram 2500 rode like.
I reuse censors all the time literally took all of 15 seconds to swap them over a tire. Not hard to swap and assume whoever buys them can do the same or buy aftermarket set for 100 bucks.
Continued the war on chrome wrapped both the middle bars on the roof rack plus mirror caps today. Not bad for $15 worth of vinyl even if it only lasts a year or two can easily redo it in 30m.
Not sure what you mean by pull but reused them on the new tires just had to get the valve stems with the screws. Easy to swap over dont have to unbead the tire other than in one small section by the stems to unscrew it and take sensor out.
No lift here no rub running a 275/70 18 which is 33.6" tall according to cooper. Can get a hand behind the wheel at full lock but only a finger upfront. Also have them mounted on method wheels with +18mm offset.
Drivers side I can fit my whole hand between wheel and felt pad on the backside. Passenger side I can get a finger between the tire and the felt liner in the front of the wheel well.
Yea I can snap a few picks at full lock. I am slowly wrapping the chrome in vinyl to get more of a chrome delete figured I would take a swing at it myself vs paying $750 when the material so far has only cost me like $70.
Correct just a bit thinner but honestly I cant tell the difference once mounted and looking at it. Compared to the photos above it looks drastic but in reality I think they are almost identical.
I did 275/70/18s on mine they fit great with no rub at all but I did upgrade wheels to methods that are +18mm offset not sure what you will be running. I know another guy on here is running the 285/70/18 on his stock everything FX4 and said he wasnt rubbing at all. Couple of pictures to show you...
Based on your wants I would go with the platinum. You can easily swap out the wheels and tires like I did and wrap some of the chrome yourself. I have done the C pillar, Roof Racks, Window Trim, Badges, Rear tailgate plaque for about $70 in vinyl. Plan on selling my platinum stock wheels for...
You can fit a 33.5" tire on stock suspension without a lift will give you little more ground clearance and not effect highway ride or mpgs much.
Im running 275 70 18 and another gentleman on here is running a 285 70 18 on stock fx4 wheels mine are method 18s with a +18mm offset. My wheels plus...
