My dealer gives free loaners if requested since they don't have a shuttle service. OP might want to check around other Ford dealers to see if they do something similar.
I hear what you say. The Expedition is like the forgotten child in Ford's lineup. I guess that's going to change since Ford is dumping most of its lineup in favour of trucks and SUVs.
Somethings to try before doing a master reset.
Make sure you are connecting to the correct usb jacks. There is a pair of them in the center console that are to be used with carplay and android auto.
Make sure you update your phone to the latest version of ios.
I think, somewhere buried in...
I'm not sure how Apple CarPlay works, but on Android Auto I had to accept the connection on the phone when first connecting. Is there something similar for iPhones?
Folks, we finally had a warm day up here. Unbolted the driver's seat, being careful to disconnect the battery first. Lo and behold, we found the ring. It was sitting under some under some metal support thingy. Sorry to get technical, this was my wife's description. I was in the back tilting the...
I garage my truck all the time and often the navigation starts up late due to no GPS reception. However, I've never seen the system display an error and not having the Ford logo show up seems to say something else is going on.
Anyone installed a pet/dog barrier in the cargo area? I need to separate out an area for my black lab from all the camping gear we take on trips. I want something that is somewhat sturdy (don't want stuff tipping over on the dog) yet easy to remove.
Thx.
I've always done this method and never had an issue. The only change I do is to let the dead vehicle sit for about 5 minutes after connecting the battery and starting it. The important thing in this procedure is to connect to the correct spots, connect things in the right order and also...
I was disappointed not to see curved lines too. My guess is the software would need to know the steering wheel position to implement this and there is simply no input from it.
That's great idea on the inspection mirror, Flex. What size of mirror would you recommend? It's got to be small enough to get under the seat etc. yet large enough to actually see something.
Folks, thanks for your input. I'm going to try and look at it this weekend to see if I can manage it. I'm not terrible mechanically inclined but I have replaced batteries, wheels and even a MAF sensor on an old Maxima I once owned. Hopefully I can manage 4 seat bolts.
@Muddy, definitely...
So my wife lost her wedding ring somewhere in the front of the truck. We've looked around the whole cabin area with a flashlight but can't find it. Now she wants to remove the front seats so we can have a better look :facepalm:.
She wants to take the truck to the dealer to have it done but I'm...
TSC and 4-auto work for most people in most situations. If that doesn't work for you, switch to 4-hi. If that still doesn't work then switch off the traction control. If you are at this point though, I'm going to guess the truck isn't moving at speed and this should be safe. I've had a number of...
