who needs seat belts? pishh. who needs a 3rd row? mine wont go in unless i move my sub. and it wont fit backwards cause of my amp. i should do it for the drives in one day though.
f150s wont bolt on. they had leafs we have coils. also if you are going to get different ring gear patterns then never put it into 4wd. even in the dirt. its too different of a ratio. also i would stick with the 9.75 axle. the 8.8 will bolt up if you find one, but if you have a heavy foot the...
ive had a few coils dry out after heavy rain before, but i would still replace that coil. #4 and #3 are the most prone to go out. usually because coolant will, very slowly, drip on to that coil. also not very fun to get out. i can get #3 out, but #4 i took in.
because of all his mods. also i always say go higher than what you know you will get for sure. i know i can get $3k for mine, but im starting at $5k. i can trade it in for $2k. so i know what these things are worth. ive been looking around, and people are buying expeditions still. you just have...
da what? laws?! PSHHH. i have 6 off road lights facing forward. i only use them when its super dark or a prius cuts me off. KC daylighters and hella 500s. i only use the 500s as fillers between my two kcs on the rack.
you are supposed to disconnect the battery to reset the computer. so now it should be fine. it was used to the higher temp, so when it was reading colder it got confused. it should be good to go when you reconnect the battery.
my dads tundra's spare was stolen. but they lowered his spare and dropped it and took it. thats easy to do with trucks. mine is still there. it hangs just low enough for me to see it when i walk buy it. so i keep an eye out on it. and i also like to drop it and lift it every once in a while.
ive towed out people at the local beach, broken down cars on the road, but never any people in ditches. i carry a tow strap and chain with me at ALL times. never know if you will need it or if you need to help someone out. glad to see you moved, im on my way once i finish school.
H3 bulbs are smaller and work just as good. i want to do this one day, but might have to do it to my dads jeep first. its really simple to do. tons of info online on how to do it. and i agree. if you turn your lights on turn them on a pair at a time. turn on, then wait till they are "warmed up"...
use a piece of wood to hold it up. it works every time. other wise idk what to use. why go with a steel cowl hood though? is it lighter than a fiberglass one?
what engine do you have? the 1st gens came with a 30 gal and a 28 gal.the 5.4 came with the 30 and 4.6 with the smaller tank. and if you had a 4.6 with air suspension and/or 4wd it was a 30 gal. its confusing. i tryed finding the link but cant anymore.
to be honest i dont know if anyone has ever done the swap. but it really wouldnt be too hard. get a junkyard tank and swap it in. make sure you drain it or drive around till its empty before you do the swap. haha.
it came with the E4OD, which is a reworked 4R100 is an option with the 5.4s. this is the better trans between these two. as for the other ones idk.
or the 4R70W in the 4.6s and some 5.4s.
30 gal tank. 300 to the tank. and thats if i use chevron 89. if i put in shell 89 i get less. idk why that is. as for mods.
3" exhaust from Y-pipe back into a 18" Bullet muffler. Gotts mod, k&n filter. Hypertech programmer. wanted to do E-fan but got the wrong fans. and soon, hopefully, CAI and...
about damn time. i like it like that though. haha for as much hassle this lift has givin you i bet you could have just called a shock company and they could have custom made you shocks to your specs. haha once you get the rears put together you should come down. i want to do one last horah...
