I feel your pain. It's so aggravating how little seats adjust for tall people. Germans have always been good about that. I used to have an Excursion and even in that my head would hit the rear HVAC controls... I will say you will most likely not be able to ride in the back seats without them...
Just check those the operating temps...
@Fozzy is definitely someone who has spent some time car camping. Great thread idea. All I have so far is a tool box and a soft cooler for groceries.
If you plan on removing them often this probably isn't the route for you. They are designed to be more of an install and leave base layer. I have had them in my wagon for about a year and a half and they have been great, carpet still looks new and almost completely pet hair free. The best...
Looking good guys!
Man, seeing the Gen1 raptor takes me back... I remember when it showed up at sema for the first time. The minimalist bumper styles were just taking off so everyone online was going nuts trying to figure out who made it.
Any idea if the Expi rear bumper will work on a Navi...
I have to side with fozzy on this one, but you are also talking to two ex raptor owners. If you aren't in an area with a lot of off road vehicles I don't really seen them often. Ut I'm sure is a very different story. I do like how it blacks out the strip in front of the headlight...
Saw this PSA the other day*...
Ended up running into him at the gas station later (pregnant wife) and he was unquestionably way over payload as the whole back of the truck was full of stuff and pretty sure had 3 kids. You are already way ahead of the curve for having a proper tow vehicle...
Throw a capacitor on the positive lead between the battery and monitor... It's basically a quick charge/discharge battery to cover the gaps. They are popular on big number car stereos.
I spoke with my audio shop guru and he said there are some circuits that turn off with the engine. Whatever circuit that was tapped to power the units needs to be checked with a volt meter while the truck is turning itself on and off. That will confirm its the power source and not the units...
This is an easy one. They stopped making their own vehicles... We can thank Mercedes for the uptick in quality. It's also why they are getting long in the tooth. They are too afraid to change them! Ha...
@Vipersinu2
Have you been able to get any other features out of the system by flashing the os? Are you using stock Android or another non Lincoln version of the os? Are you able to get any of the features on the non Lincoln version? Or did they take the extra hardware out as well? Built in...
Yeah... the regulation side of car development is nowhere near the tech curve... Phone upgrade cycles have ruined us for what we come to expect. Usually what is coming out on new models is already 2-4 years old due to the time it takes to develop everything else. If you don't rely on them for...
A lot of that has to do with crash testing and heat requirements etc... The Roku has been a great addition. It has its own interface or it can be used as a cast device.
It's the cable leading to the headlight control unit which controls the headlights and fogs (one on each side)... Then it breaks out to another box that I would normally think is a ballast but I'm pretty sure we have dual LED as well.
So I got as far as the harness that comes out of the rear of the headlight control module but we were unable to find a high beam trigger there. I guess the next step is to check at the other end. I unfortunately ran out of time as we hit the road the next morning. The good news is it's pretty...
I keep making fun of a buddy who has one on order... Tata has been wanting out, brexit on top of covid... Of course you want a British, first production year, new from the ground up vehicle... What could possibly go wrong? Our local dealer is also terrible...
My only experience with...
Sounds like a capacitor...
Some electronics are more picky than others when it comes to drop in voltage. The easiest thing to do would be to put in a capacitor which is basically a short term battery that fills the gap in voltage as the vehicle starts back up...
Unless like you said they...
