im wondering what some of the differences between a third gen and a raptor are. besides the obvious. but the 5.4l. if the struts will bolt up in the front. and maybe front clip. the pics on the other thread have gotten me thinking :flamingdevil:
eibach makes a set of lowering springs. pull the srtut out, take top of strut off(USE A SPRING COMPRESSOR), switch the springs, reassemble, alignment. done.
also(in ct anyway) when your highbeams come on your fogs must turn off. had an issue with this on an older truck of mine where i just wired after market fogs into the parking lights and failed inspection for it.
find a fuse thats on with the ignition, find the wire that is the radio power(not the constant power/memory power), or hook it to a switch so you can turn the sub off and keep the radio settings the same.(not have to play with bass/tremble)
could explain why but its the ebay one. did you do anything with your control arms after you lifted it? fiend of mine has same issue with his f15 and same front spacers
just put them under the frame rails right in front of the rear tires and right behind the front tires. its not that its unibody, its that its independant axles instaed of straight axles.
i just got a set of falken high country in a 305/50/20. not quite a 35 but may be avail in the size you want. was out in the mess of a storm we just had and so far they did good. the biggest avail high country is a 32 but the wild peak is avail in a 34.7 tire.
there are videos on youtube with smart cars and wrecks. they hold up quite well. downfall is there are no crumple zones to absorb impact so its all transferred to your body. they hit a concrete wall at a 45 degree angle and the pass door still opened. and another one vs a full size mercedes...
i like maguires personally but there are many quality products. and i forgot who makes it but there is a cleaner with teflon in it for the rims. may slightly help make rinsing them easier
a big part of the decision would be do you plan on adding anything else to the distribution block in the future. it may be easier to run the smaller wire the longer distance but i would do the larger wire and block to the back for future upgrades and only have to run it once.
