Don't get me wrong here, I love my Expy but my god wtf was Ford thinking when they designed the engine. I did my plugs not to long ago and out took me a little over 5 hours to do the plugs. I did the COP's yesterday and due to a bad knee out took me a little longer. Something as simple as changing plugs and coils should not be this hard. What was Ford thinking man? Sorry for the rant.

I would have done the plugs my self on mine but I don't have the tools to get them out when they break. It cost me almost $700 to get them done cause 5 of them broke. I feel your pain.

Nas1....you answered your own question with one word..."thinking" they never do...feel free to vent anytime...thats what this is for...I think we need a thread just for "RANTS"
lets see what comes to the top of my head...:hmm: manifolds :pp: spark plugs :mfr_omg: COP :mad3: fuel mileage :beatdeadhorse5: This is just to name a few..this make you :insane: Most of these ideas come from here engineers here :Plugged: So that we can do this :banghead: Just so we can enjoy doing this :driver:

Not only did it take forever but doing the last coil on the passenger side underneath the heater hoses I lost 1 extension underneath the intake manifold. Had to go buy one and then I lost the screw that holds the coil in place underneath the intake manifold as well. Had to go to ford and pay $5.13 per screw. I bought 2 of them. In case I lose one in the bottemless pit of the engine. I mean c'mon $5.13 for one screw. I can get a whole set of better quality screws for my gas powered rc cars for about 15 bucks for almost 30 high quality screws. Jeesh.

Nope. My little magnet antenna thing could not reach that far. It's lost forever. But there is no rattle sound yet lol.

i found a 1-1/4" I think... a huge wrench on my frame after the shop did an alignment... was over a foot long... but I wondered how did it stay for a month and over 300 miles before I found it...
