    Ticking noise

    Thanks for the heads up. I have read that before when i had the ticking noise, all i did was change the oil myself and it went away so my guess is that walmart used a different thickness.

    $95 bucks an hour is a little excessive.. The going rate is around 55-65 bucks an hour. Now for the alternator... i dont think thats true. I upgraded my alternator to a powermaster alternator (200amp) and never got a check engine light.

    I dont have an 03 but i would say no it's not normal unless everything is starting to wrong with the vehicle. If you are spending $500 every 2 months then its costing you $3,000 a year in repairs... something is not right. On my 99 i hit 133,xxx miles yesterday and havent had a major repair yet...

    Lousy Brake Rotors-Anyone else?

    I had the same thing happen to me in my 99 Expy but for me it was the brake pads themselves were warped ( they were brand new from autozone) so i took them back, got another complete set and it all went away.

    The kit wasnt that expensive. I got it off ebay BRAND NEW for $695 total. Shipping was a bit pricey ($145) cause it ships by freight in one big box. I also bought some fenders too :D this is what the kit looks like...

    Well i finally received my body kit after months and months of it being on order. I got it yesterday and today i've been sanding it and getting it ready for primer over the weekend. I will post some pics when im finished with the primer, then its time for a test fit on the Expy :D cant wait.

    Front Suspension Noise

    I would have to guess yes. Since the bolt is missing on that side there is probably alot of play on that side since the bolt isn't there to keep it snug. But thats just my opinion, cant really say for sure.

    No they dont... They are bolt on. No internal engine parts are REQUIRED to be changed. Only thing that would be needed is a computer tune.

    Hands down a supercharger. Granted it cost a few thousand to get one (unless you find a used one on eBay) but its the most cost efficient (in my opinion) Yes you could get headers, exhaust,cams but after spending all that it will probably be close to 2k if not more and you wont have anywhere...

    I have used it for regular maintenance since truck was new. Usually use it twice a year..
