    @ nathan yes she was but after i took all the salvageable parts @treycool the lights are Atomic Street. i paid 100.00 for them off craigslist ill be adding more pics as she progresses. my kit im putting on next and then the paint. after that the inside will be done.

    :mad: i had to get rid of my 97 expy.. she was a true great friend, but her engine finaly died, her tranfercase motor went and worst of all the leaky windshield allowed rain in and it shorted out ALL my eletronics. she died at 199998.5...but im VERY happy to say that i got a new friend...

    i have that issue and i replaced the GEM and mins still didnt work but i have rust going down my A-frame, from the winshield. and when i removed all the modling i seen the rust under there. so do you think i have to change the fuse box as well seeing that was not changed? Oh i did smell burning...

    OMG!!!!! after rain stuff doesn't work!!!!!!

    i replaced the GEM unit and its still not working but i did take off ALL the panels and i seen the water trail go all the way down the A-frame to the floor, and i see a bit of rust. i dont see any other replaceable parts under there. ill post pics so if some cant help me out that will be great.

    thax, my account was messed up so i didnt get a chance to repy till now, but im going to change it tomorrow i did find one in the junkyard i just hope iy works. i know i have to replace it becasue i did smell it burning.

    during the rain i can smell something burning and it was real intense. after the rain the SPEEDO lights don't work, the running boards, windows,wind shield wipers. interior lights & sunroof don't work. i checked the fuses and they are all fine, so im kinda stumped. so help if u can

    1997 eddie tranny issues

    issue fixed i went to the dealer after there were no tranny codes found, it was the tran case motor. i was stuck in 4L and i replaced the tran case and motor myself and my baby is back up and running!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Well I got it back and the speedo and tach now works but, I still have the same issue I was looking in my haynes and I found out that there is a tranny control switch that's on the steering colum and that might be the issue so I'm going to check that right now

    i changed the speed sensor, and the tranny TWICE and it still will not shift into a higher gear. and the speedo still dosent work either. So im starting to think there is a elecrtical issue now. but is there something i MIGHT be missing? or is there something i should be resetting?

    Taking off emblems????

    im going to upgrade my emblems to the new current ones for my 97-EB does anyone know if they are just adhesive backing? Or do they have mounting holes as well?
