OMG!!!!! after rain stuff doesn't work!!!!!!

during the rain i can smell something burning and it was real intense. after the rain the SPEEDO lights don't work, the running boards, windows,wind shield wipers. interior lights & sunroof don't work. i checked the fuses and they are all fine, so im kinda stumped. so help if u can

Remove the drivers side visor and look above the headliner. Mine ( and many others) leaked right where the groove in the roof meets the windshield. Then the water travels down the A-pillar and into the GEM unit ( major electrical junction on kick panel). Mine would click and make funny noises while the car was off and my gauges wouldn't work while it was on.

Seal the leak, and put dielectric grease on the connector to the GEM unit. If that doesn't solve it, do a search for leaking windshield. Others have done more to fix it.

thax, my account was messed up so i didnt get a chance to repy till now, but im going to change it tomorrow i did find one in the junkyard i just hope iy works. i know i have to replace it becasue i did smell it burning.

i replaced the GEM unit and its still not working but i did take off ALL the panels and i seen the water trail go all the way down the A-frame to the floor, and i see a bit of rust. i dont see any other replaceable parts under there. ill post pics so if some cant help me out that will be great.
