    I have a 2019 xlt 202a with activex fake leather, heated and cooled seats. The seats are the most comfortable of any vehicle I've ever sat in. My wife's qx80 has the worst seats. When we take her car somewhere even my son complains that his legs fall asleep in the infinity.

    Yes it's normal to have the dark spots, I have the same setup. You will have even worse dark spots if you turn the high beams on as it disables the fogs. Do you know the lights will also flicker like crazy if your auto start stop turns your engine off while you're stopped?

    Yes, it's another feature that auto-defaults to 'on' each time you start the car and there is no setting to permanently disable it. I'm sure that traction control helps them avoid "rollover" or "flip-over" lawsuits. They really don't want you to turn it off and leave it off.

    It's obvious that the benefit is for Ford and not for the customer based on the simple fact that you can't turn it off and LEAVE it off. The fact that it turns on by default and can't be disabled by the customer should be enough to throw up the red flag.

    I think you have to solve the problem on the ceiling side. I don't think you can alter the buckle side. Otherwise you're going to mess with the proper functionality of it.
