I've literally had zero issues. No trimming on front or back. I am running Recon Grapplers 295/70/18. I dont know how the Wildpeak sizing compares - All manufacturers 295's are not the same - for example the KO2's definitely run smaller.
Since Readylift would not sell the 2" rear lift by itself I had to purchase the entire 3/2 kit. I'm going to be selling just the front 3" spacers that came in the kit that I didn't use. These are quality pieces not cheap Ebay knock offs. It will have instructions and the nuts that came with...
Loki - have you done any oil analysis on these ecoboost engines? I wouldn’t be surprised if we were good for anywhere from 8-10k miles depending on use. Personally I use a 6k change interval but its probably excessive.
Thank you - totally agree with you. My son had an F150 with 6" lift and 37's - this is definitely not that look. Its a subtle change but I think it looks "right". I'm going to experiment with some quality Bora spacers with the stock wheels before I upgrade to new wheels. - In spite of all...
Here's a couple of pics: 1.5" Ready Lift front leveling with 2" rear - I didn't do anything else, I think the larger diameter of the rear tire just fills up the wheel well better than the smaller oem tires. It looks well balanced - front height from ground to fender is 39 3/8" rear height...
The service manual indicates 406 lb ft for this bolt? In all my years of wrenching on cars I have never seen a spec requiring 406 lb ft? Is there a mathematical difference between lb ft and ft lbs? I cant believe this is accurate?
I have just installed the rear so far - I plan on having the front done this weekend. Then I'll take some profile pics. The rear was really easy. I'm happy to share a few tips on my install.
I have been running Nitto Recon Grappler 295/70/18 with OEM wheels with no issues. I also have a Raptor and the Expy is no Raptor but its really quite capable for a big SUV - the rear elsd is not going to be as stout as the Raptor. It really depends on what your intended use is...
I'm...
$140 worth of hoses - $910 worth of labor? "weeping" is subjective - pictures would help. I wouldn't think the hoses would be deteriorated or brittle on a '19. My daughters 4Runner front cover was "weeping" according to the dealer and they wanted 1K to reseal it. "Dusting"... "Weeping"...
Personally, with those choices I would go the the 305's on the Timberline. It's already lifted and a 33.81 is not that large. When I move to 17's I will most likely run a 35x12.50. I have a 315/70/17 on my jeep and a 35x12.50x17 on my Raptor - I'll decide which of those I end up with when...
I have run the EBC slotted and dimpled rotors and yellowstuff pads. Very happy. Unless you are going with a premium rotor stay away from drilled rotors - much more prone to cracking.
The last thing I would want is 22" wheels - I do tow a trailer and wanted something that would be good in the sand off road but not like Jeep off roading. Really not many choices out there if you want a larger SUV, 8 passenger capacity and some off road capability. I looked at the Wagoneer...
I totally agree - it really should have coilovers and sway bar disconnects - but seriously, when we are talking about off road I have a modified Jeep Rubicon and a Raptor so I‘m putting this in perspective. I run this more on road than either of my others so if I can improve upon its on road...
Not happy with the body lean of my ‘22 Timberline - are the factory sway bars the same as the base models and what is current best alternative? Hellwig with some poly-urethane bushings?
I just cringe when I hear ”oil change express” or “car wash” There is a reason why I have multiple interested people when I decide to sell a vehicle. I do mods for myself and no one else. And being a wholesaler of fuel and lubricants - I’m extremely skeptical of what the “oil change...
