Welcome!
Sounds to me like you need a cool pack and possibly new plugs as well... Mine had an issue similar to that and the misfire was cured with all new plugs, still need to do the coils
Also the sunroof "issue" you're experiencing is ford adding ease of use to the accessories they changed the...
So I have 2006 Expedition 5.4L 4WD with a 3/2 level.
I am in the process of rebuilding the front end and suspension and a little bit of the drivetrain.
In the past couple weeks I have added new struts all around and a leveling kit and new sway bar end links and tie rod ends and upper control...
I hear ya on peace of mind for sure... I'm figuring once I get the brakes off of there and replaced with some good quality pad and rotors it'll sound a bit better and the cvs and everything else holding the front wheels outta get rid of the creaking completely unless it's in the suspension but...
My newly leveled suspension also creaks a tiny bit when moving the truck around but not at higher speeds... Has new upper controls and joints from MOOG and driver's side has new tie rod end and sway bar link and the pass side is still original.. The struts are brand new as well. I think mine...
Yes my 2006 had chips on the back window as well... I used some ford Ebony black touch up paint just as temporary fix and it's almost 100% unnoticeable
I hear the new eco gets better hp, mpg, and torque with the twin turbo V6... So yes I guess one could assume that it is better than the V8... But still id rather have a 5.0 v8 in an expy
The cv boots appear fine they do need replacing in my opinion... That's what I was thinking when I saw that amount of grease as well but they look ok... When I get the new arms in and get it aligned I'll check the cvs again
Like bedrck said.. I would absolutely have it aligned... I'm doing my uppers right now and finishing them tomorrow and yours are 100% flipped [emoji51]

Also, for an update... The pass side has been replaced, NAPA gave me a part that has the same part number but appears to be very much higher quality.. They couldn't see the difference.... Anyways it has a clip and ring holding the boot so this will hopefully not happen again and I decided to do...
Yeah since this one is replaced for free I'm going to have to have it put on for now and just hope it doesn't split open again for a few months at least... Eventually I'll have to take a look at those K series from MOOG hopefully if I get those on they'll hold up better with the lift because...
Here is a a couple pics...
Just keep in mind mine has the struts that you bought but also a leveling kit so it sits a little higher than stock yours should sit about 3" lower than mine

So the when the upper ball joint boot separated this is the grease I found poured out everywhere... Don't know how all this grease was in there but....

Yeah I'm getting a whole new arm free from Napa and my mechanic is going to out it on for me again for free and then it's going to alignment for free but I just don't want it to happen again you know? Lol
Hey guys, so just got done everything with leveling my truck and ran into an issue...
So you know here's what I put on:
New complete struts all around
New sway bar end link
New tie rod end
New upper control arm+ball joints
Had the small issued I had worked out and it was aligned last Friday...
Mine was doing this but I think it was due to something different... I eventually had the rear wheel bearings replaced and abs sensors and the steering rack had to to be replaced due to a hole in it

Bought myself the motorcraft plugs and had the dealer do mine $300 plus the $80 or so for the plugs... My opinion so much easier than removing the broken ones and pulling things apart just to get to the plugs on the passanger side
