Just out of curiosity, why would you want one of these and why mount it where you’ll never see it and is a distraction to you while driving if you try to look at it? Is it really that important?
I have two expeditions so no jealousy. However I have 2 Kids and want more so it’s practical for us. We travel to FL a lot and it’s better than having a pickup with a tonneau cover or cap over the bed. Had he said he bought it for hauling dead ppl, different story.
Clean all the MAP sensors, nkt sure where they are but on my 16 there’s one just past intake box, One just before TB, and the most important one on top of manifold. This is the dirtiest, yours is probably coated in blow by, eventhough ford said they fixed that issue by doing both DI and port...
Pulling battery cable won’t do it. You need to drain the capacitors for the keep alive memory reset to work. Pull battery cable, turn every accessory light on hi and lows, interior, door. All that. Or just get a tuning device and reset it that way. But just pulling a cable won’t do it
Yeah duh I know some companies do that. My wife’s wheels have those, but this company doesn’t sell lug caps on there website on any of their wheels so again, try again. I want to know why Verde has holes if a cover doesn’t go there.
I know plenty, I own two of them, one with a ton of upgrades and the other bone stock. I do all of my own work. I know how these trucks work, what works best for them and what doesn’t. Thanks for the input though, :chair:
The electronic running boards are solid metal. Not plastic. I have none of this in my 2016 and I live by the ocean and have 3 months of salt roads in the winter and no corrosion or pinning
They are wearing out too quickly and just grinding down what’s there. Also have noticed on my wife’s car that there is a very small circumferential ring of rust around the outside edge of rotors that is throwing dust and metal shavings all over her nice new black wheels.
As long as you have the diodes facing the correct way you’re good to go. They need to be perfectly level left and right. Not up and down. Set them up like this. Notice the diode is pointing to the right and not up
Pretty sure anyone who can take apart their brakes And notice metal on metal is smart enough to self diagnose. Excessive brake dust especially from the front is a clear sign of worn out brakes. Sounds like he knows what he’s doing
