ford (and everyone else) has done a much better job at brake biasing....I wouldn't expect to get to get more out of the rears than maybe 1.5 sets...gone are the days of 2 or 3 fronts to 1 rear set.

I got 75K miles out of front and 98K miles rear, before replacing.
Very easy on brakes, drive like the Old Fart that I am.

mainly replaced fronts due to pulsing on downhill mtn grades
and rear just because inside pads worn more than outsides

Rears wore out at 28k on my 2017. Average driver, fairly flat terrain. Dealer said brakes are wear items- not warrantied.

Very disappointed with Ford.

Hey! Leave Canada out of this!! Might hurt my feelings and I'll have to use our free health care to get some government price regulated drugs! Haha
Lots of people with free health care here in the USA.
In NYS , if your income is below a certain level (~$24K for a single) ... you get free health care (no premium), no deductible, no copay, no OOP max, emergency room free, free Meds.

I love Canada. Heartbroken I can't drive there this summer. Last summer I drove my Expy up to Toronto ... Georgian Bay .. around the Lake to UP of Michigan ... out to Montana ... up to Jasper ... out to Revelstoke ... back to Montana (Glacier NP) ... down to Yellowstone ... then Rocky Mtn NP ... then home. Spent 5 days at Wilderness Club Resort on the border. Got chased by a Grizzly back into my Expy on the Forestry Trunk Road in western Alberta.

Glacier NP was one of the best drives I have ever done. Incredible views and that road up the mountain....CRAZY!

Just wondering : are the inside pads interchangeable with outside pads ? Still ? Seems that F150's and Expees have special shaped inner brake pads ; at least on my 2013 . fothco

No, mine were marked driver/passenger and inner/outer.

I would think there is a problem.
Back brakes should last 60,000 plus miles.

Most of all the breaking comes from the front.

I'm at 38k miles and rear brake pads were worn. Had them replaced at a dealership. Suburban driving, but the first 20k miles were done in NYC, so lots of stop and go.
