O'kay, I still need help. My rear suspension on my 1999 Expedition E.B. still won't go down. My compressor is operational. My question is if the control module has gone bad, can it just work the the front half of the system? If the relay has gone bad, can it still work the front half of the...
Still no luck getting the rear airbags to empty. I found a piece that looks like a large tire air valve located above the load sensor, can I bleed the system from that? It looks like a deep well socket will fit on it........... Is this the pressure relief valve? (PRV)
Well, I shut down the air system, removed the ride height sensor, cleaned the connectors and the sensor moves freely. I will activate the system and try to see if I can move the sensor manually. Do I disconnect the lower mount and extend and retract the arm? And wow! nice ride Tony! someday I'll...
Well, since I have the only Expedition that has ever had this problem, I can only assume that Ford air suspensions are bulletproof and trouble free. I must have gotten a rare bad one. Can someone at least tell me how to let air OUT of the airbags? I cant even drive it.............
1999 Expedition E.B. rear air bags won't air down. They seem to be at max inflation. How can I fix this? The front works fine, up and down just like she should but my ass is sticking up in the air like a 6" lift!

Well, I crawled under her and looked at the sensor, looks like a little shock absorber, and nothing else, nothing side by side, just the the one that looks like a shock. Could you give me a little more detail on what I'm supposed to be looking for? and where is the solenoid vavle for the rear?
I just got my 1999 Expedition E.B. driving home I noticed the Check Suspension dash light was on so I crawled under her, the rear looked great, moved to the front and found that both sway bar links were broken, bought and installed new ones, then I noticed that I was sitting on the rubber stops...
I just got my '99 Expedition E.B. I found the the front sway bar links were broken and I replaced them, moved on to why the front shocks were getting no air, found the the switch for air suspension was off. Turned it on and everything aired right up. Stood back and looked at her and noticed that...
Thanks, I found the air compressor, tiny little thing, aint it? well, I suppose I could shoot a little WD-40 into the intake, that might settle it down.......
When I got my 1999 Expedition the check suspension light was on, everything looked real good in the back, moved to the front and found both sway bar link's broken so I fixed that with new one's, thats when I noticed the front end was resting on the rubber stops. I dont have the owners manual, so...
