I own a 2016 Expedition EL Limimted 4x4. The mirror options are:
Power folding (not available on Trail Ridge mirrors)
Memory
Turn signal
Puddle lamps
Heated
Dimming (not available on Trail Ridge mirrors)

Oh my gawd they are so flat. It's so different & everything seems so magnified vs the usual I just installed them today.
My review of both 1a Auto & the trail ridge mirros
https://www.expeditionforum.com/threads/1a-auto-trailridge-tow-mirror-review.41677/
Their CS is very limited and said the 2015 mirror will not work with the 2016.
I saw somewhere else that the passenger side mirror is flat and not slightly convex like every other mirror in the world. I'm debating if that's going to be a deal breaker for me.
This is exactly what I was talking about. I saw them briefly and they were about $740 if memory serves me well.
I hear that f150 or 250 mirrors physically fit but have different pin connections? I'm having a hard time finding time to do this research while taking care of my toddler.
Did they stop making power fold tow mirrors for the 3rd gen? I had a hit & run sideswipe on my parked expy yesterday that eliminated my mirror.
Looking for a tow mirror for 2016 with power adjust/fold, memory, puddle, signals and heated glass.
Just to be sure, you tried those bulbs on the left side to verify that they work or swap left/right bulbs?
Otherwise, certainly does sound like a wiring problem. The wiring is usually channeled under the door sills then along the cargo trim. You're more likely to have problems closer to the...
I too have been heavily researching this. Fwiw nothing good can really be put in the side panels. I've removed them and taken measurements. If you have a Sony sound system, the subwoofer has the control box mounted to it so you need a special bracket if you delete the sub. The filler & Liftgate...
I've upgraded to rock sliders
3rd gen EL
The front is slightly cut to allow for 35x12.5 tires
I think I have the bolts somewhere in the garage
Pick up or local delivery only. If you want delivery then you gotta offer me up some money.
Local to Culver City, Venice, Santa Monica area.
I installed custom sliders and don't need the original boards. Anyone want them? They are slightly cut in the front to allow for 35s. Near Santa Monica. I won't ship these. I have the bolts somewhere in my tool box.
I'm all about getting good tire placement without a spotter. My rear windows are pretty much blacked out with limo tint on top of the factory tint so visibility is 0 at night.
I also drive my car for tv so I would like to be able to drive with my face planted to the screen if my window is...
Well here's just one where it allows for a front camera
https://camera-source.com/ford-universal-camera-for-sync-3-displays-use-front-or-rear-2377.html
I see that there are aftermarket multi-camera options available for the f150 trucks, escape & edge cars with sync 3. Am I wrong to think that those will also work with our expeditions that have sync 3 as long as we have the software up to date?
@Williamb97 I did a write up on mine a bit ago.
Hey guys, so I just had this same issue. It went from sporadic snow on the screen to "not available". I was able to fix it with just reseating the connection and re-wrapping the cable at the connection. I didn't take pics since I had a time...
I just swapped out my stock console with one from Havis. They have bolt-ons available. Huge space available inside once the main box is removed. I got a bracket with a usb hole & glued the factory connector on the underside. I'm looking to either add a cb or ham radio before a lock box. Havis...
