I bought the Trail Ridge Mirrors for $238 for the pair (link below). They've gone up a little. Power, memory, heated, puddle. Manual folding/telescoping.
The manufacturer will tell you they won't work on a 2015-2017 Expy, but they fit and work perfectly with exception to the BLIS option. See pic below of my 17 Ex.

To the point of this post...
If you install a/m mirrors that aren't specifically for BLIS, you're going to get an error display and DTC. I suspect it's an easy work around to either install an LED or I might even wire in to one of the LEDs on the turn signal strip. I emailed them to see if I can just replace the mirrors. I don't know if the juice is worth the squeeze for that. We'll see what they say.

Don't mind the fitment of the bumper in the pic. It's not adjusted yet.

These are the ones I bought. If you have BLIS, buy the ones in the next link, not these.

The following option wasn't available when I bought mine. These include the BLIS LED.
I'm not sure if there is a difference between these two parts. I think they're the same.

They look good and are on my list. I just really wish they had an amber light facing forward on the outside edge.

You can get Dorman Mirror Chrome caps (F150 version is exact fit) if you want them to be visible instead of sticking out all please-whack-me-stealthy

I might add them at some point. It's a relatively easy add on. They sell all kinds of different light strips etc. Maybe even something as simple as this, but I'd go with a better quality/looking one.

This one is a little pricey, but a lot nicer.

Sure am. They've worked out great.

Thinking of getting a pair of these myself unless there is some other option that adds the power fold yet?

Did you ever add in the amber leds to the non mirror side yet and/or know of any that would fit easily/properly? The nicer one you linked earlier looks like its for under the mirror?

There aren't any power folding yet that I'm aware of. I haven't added the leds to the backside yet. Hasn't been high on the priority list as of late.

Fair enough. Chances are if I added the leds to the backside they would end up hyperflashing I assume?

What would make you assume that? Because you're doubling up on the same circuit? Hyper flashing is usually an indication of using LEDs where incandescents were used originally. Using LEDs shouldn't cause a problem, but I've been known to be wrong before...

Maybe I'm just over thinking it! Not sure why but I did not think the signal lamps in the mirror were LED? Sounds like all I'll need to do if adding the additional signal is tap right into same source as whats going to the signal in the mirror already. Adding in dynamic signals would likely be a bit more complicated?

Yes, with LEDs being low wattage, you should be able to just tap in to what's already there for wiring in the mirrors.

I got a pair of these for sale for $200. I can’t post in the for sale section since I don’t have 50 posts. I guess just don’t have that much to say. I’m in Radcliff, KY if interested.

2007 to 2017 Ford Expedition Towing Mirror Set. Power, Heated, Turn Signal, Memory, Blind Spot Detection, Puddle Light, Manual-Folding, Textured Black, Manual-Telescoping. Sold our RV and no longer need them. $300 new.

Do the front facing caps just pop off? I've pried on them a bit, but it just wanted to marr the plastic and felt like it was going to break something. Maybe I'm just being too cautious? I'd really like to add some sort of front facing indicator and/or parking lamp for better visibility.

I have a set of them from AM auto parts and love them! They are on my 2003. I wouldn't ever tow again without them.
