Dam this looks great...you should sell a pattern for this rear cargo area...I thought about having the rear side glass removed and steel panels put over the glass area and all welded and filled in to match the truck....kinda like a panel Expy....it would make it one of one.....
Thanks Tony....We had a conversation last night after a discussion with my friend SG Towing....Im not ready to part with it and she knows it...she told me that...so it looks like for now it stays with me and will be put away again for the winter....
thanks for the input...the wife really needs a newer car and after what I just put her through..she deserves it...she drives the truck but dont like the size...she would like an Escape or Edge. Money is always an issue these days....dont have to sell and shes not giving me any pressure...it is...
well I got a cash offer of 6500.00 for my 2000 expy 5.4 with 105k. I think its a fair price...I personally feel its worth more like maybe 8,000.00 only cuz its so clean and all the toys....I just dont know what to do...the other thing is, its a family member and dont know how I will feel about...
WOW..Looks good...I have been doing some reading on this stuff...I plan on using it on those moldings that run along the bottom of the windows on the doors...can you give a little more detail on the taping?
I thought maybe a can a door and the back doors are a little smaller so maybe not as much....dont know with the floor yet...the floor in the cargo area I had done with the same rubber matting 1/2 inch as I used in the roof...I put the factory rubber cargo mat over that and bought a gray cargo...
I was looking to cut down road noise..there is not much of anything on the backside of the door panels...its not a music related issue or boom boom thing...I just want the cabin a little quieter...
oh by the way...my wife likes your vehicle....
Well SOL, I was looking at a sound deadner for the truck...I was gonna use dyna mat on the floors and I asked here if for like the back quarter panels where you cant get your hand in to buy spray foam and shoot it in and it would expand and quite the noise down.I was worried about it buckling...
I figured these would have to be pressed in and out...most the new bushings say to reuse the same outer sleeves...I have looked at multiple control arms that come with new bushing and ball joint...I just dont want cheap stuff for front end parts...I always liked MOOG, but heard they are now made...
cool thanks for the pics...are you gonna do your window trim? Maybe I will wait and see how it looks...if it holds up on your wheels with the heat..it must hang on pretty good...
can you send me a couple of pics of your window trim...maybe I will go to the pull a part and get one of these pieces and give it a try...see if i like the look...im kinda anal about that after a 4k paint job...
did you do yours? did you have to take them off? got any pictures...plastic dip...I have hear allot about this...is that the stuff in a spray can you see on TV.
I have this trim rubber trim on every side...being this was a California truck it is sun beat. I have tried everything from back to black to wipe new and nothing seems to make this look any better. I thought I saw a picture on here somewhere that someone had some chrome covers or overlay they...
