    Dent in cold air intake

Yep definitely is, when I first saw it on mine I also thought defect which started my search for an answer too. :)

    Dent in cold air intake

There is another thread on this topic if you search. From what I recall, that part is also used on the F150 power boost which has an additional coolant tank in that area and it requires the extra space to fit hence the indentation.

Complete newbie looking for 40k Expedition - tell me what I should know?

As several others have mentioned, an XLT is what you seek. Not wanting the moon roof or power running boards were major reasons we went with an XLT. The seats are Active-X which is a higher quality vinyl replacement. We have no issues with them. 2018 or 2019 may have had actual leather before...

6,000 lbs. or 9,000 lb. Towing?

If you have the pro backup assist knob on the dash above the brake controller you have the heavy duty tow package. If not then you don't.

    Seat Comfort

Ford removed adjustable headrests on the lower trims somewhere around 2020 (upper trims still had it I believe for at least a year or two after that if not longer). Regardless my wife was in the same situation and we purchased a used one in perfect condition from eBay which works great and...

    Setting CarPlay Volume???

Like 99WhiteC5Coupe said, adjust the volume while maps directions are being spoken. Took me a little while to find it too when I first got the truck.

Had to buy it! Part 2

You can download the manual from Ford here. It used to be in the FordPass app as well but I didn't see it with a quick look. https://www.ford.com/support/owner-manuals/

Every 2024 Non Max Expedition has the same Payload Sticker

If you look at the link posted above with all the payloads from members, you will see this was not the case in the past. They actually weighed them based on what they contained. There were lots of different payloads, not just a couple. Now they seem to be cheaping out and not doing that anymore.

Every 2024 Non Max Expedition has the same Payload Sticker

I'd be willing to bet it was cost cutting on Ford's part as mentioned by others. As for the legal question, if the number they put on there is below what the actual payload capacity is for the vehicle there wouldn't be any issue - you aren't exceeding the design limit. Dodge was doing something...

Ford Pass App - New Version

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that the FordPass 5.10 version on Android adds the ability to add your own service records again. Should have never left in the first place but at least it is back.

    Sudden battery death?

From the '22 manual (page 405): Battery Sensor Reset When you install a new battery, reset the battery sensor by doing the following: 1. Switch the ignition on, and leave the engine off. Note: Complete Steps 2 and 3 within 10 seconds. 2. Flash the high beam headlamps five times, ending with...

    2024 Expedition Vs 2024 F150 Towing/Payload Capacities

Keep in mind those are the maximum possible payload and towing numbers you could get for each of those engine choices. Those typically come on the lower trim levels (think XL) which has less equipment/options installed. In the real world what they offer is usually lower than those for payload...

Can we talk HD Tow one more time?

Not sure what is going on. The GVWR and axle loadings on that last one are pretty close to the same as mine with a significant reduction in payload somehow. Maybe Ford is trying to up-sale people to higher trim levels so they put low payload stickers on the XLTs. Or they do what Hellwig said...

Can we talk HD Tow one more time?

That CCD comment increasing payload capacity is BS IMO. My 22 XLT has the standard suspension with the heavy duty tow package and I'm at 1795 lbs of payload. It is similar to that XLT truck except I don't have the pano roof which takes around 150 lbs of payload. The XLT should have around 1650...

Can we talk HD Tow one more time?

You should ask them each for a picture of the "Tire and loading information" sticker then you will know for sure. This assumes you have those in Canada.

2022 Limited rear climate controls not showing up on front screen

The rear controls 100% do pop up on the screen just like in that video. I use it all the time on my 22 XLT. They are lying to you and you are correct.

Headlight harness diagram 2022 expedition limited

In the 22 refresh, all trim levels got the same reflector based LED headlights so it is different than pre-refresh. Perhaps the difference is due to the signature lighting that goes around the outside of the headlight? Not all trim levels got that feature. Someone may have the drawing on here.
