I don't know what rjdep7 is bitching about. Does anyone know why he replied like that. Unless I'm missing something he's the douche bag........ Expy's are not POS. There great trucks
.
If I'm doing my math right your getting somewhere around 67,500 per set. That's really good mileage. What brand of tires are you using? I'm only at 117,000 on a 2003 Eddie Bauer and may have to invest in a set. Thanks
Andy, when you are ready to sell that truck I'll bet there will be 100 people from the forum who want to buy it. You really take great care of that Expy.
Welcome to the forum. That's a nice looking truck. It's hard to believe it has over 200,000 miles. I have a 2003 Expy Eddie Bauer with 117,000 and it's also been a great vehicle. My 13 Navigator has 62000 miles. I've only owned it for 8 months but very good so far.
That's funny. In my case my wife was dead set against me buying another boat and it caused a lot of arguments. I though to myself I'm not getting any younger and if I don't get it now, then when. I bought the boat 7 years ago and still have it. By the way the wife is still here too.
I know the feeling of how boats mysteriously grow over the years. The biggest boat I had was a 28 footer with twin 231 HP Volvo Duroprop and I kept it in a slip. I sold that about 10 years ago but I got the bug a few years later and decided to buy a 21" Cuddy and trailer it. My wife gave me...
Welcome to the forum. You would need a weight distribution hitch to handle that much weight. The Expy can tow the weight but your near the limit. I tow a 5000 lb. boat and trailer and have no issues at all. Some other guys may be able to give you more advice on towing your weight. You may...
If you tried moving the striker and your doors are still rattling try these easy fixes. They can make a big difference and literally take 2-3 minutes to complete.
1. Open all the doors. Put on a pair of jersey gloves and fit all your fingers into the gasket on the body. Then pull it back...
I used to change my oil myself many years ago but not anymore. When you consider the price of the oil and filter, having to get under the truck and do the change, then taking the oil to be recycled, it's a PIA. Also stores are always running specials and it cost $25 to 30 for a change. It's...
There is a video on youtube where a guy had 3 pieces of metal cut and then welded in to hold up the support. This was 2 years or so ago and it's still holding up fine. It wasn't an Expy but uses the same principle. You should check it out.
It looks like you used a 4 mil white vinyl. I would think if tried a clear vinyl you would have a better shot at the light shinning through. Just a thought.
Your post gave me an idea. Maybe I should surprise myself with a 2018 Navigator for Christmas. I know I would appreciate it and be very great full that I bought the vehicle. Just kidding.
Enjoy your new truck. You have one hell of a husband. Merry Christmas to you both.
I wanted to disarm the system. I found out today it can't be done. When it's get cold the batteries send bad signals and the alarm goes off. As far as I know they are the original sensors.
Does anyone know how to disarm the TPMS system. I have an 03 Expy EB and not only does the light come on but the alarm goes off every 30 seconds. Big Big PIA. Any info is appreciated.
The definition of drama: A way of relating in the world in which people consistently overreact to or exaggerate the importance of benign events. So obviously there is more to drama then 2 school girls.
By the way thanks for creating more drama.
