Hello fellow Expedition owners.

I have a 2012 Expedition Limited 4wd with 212k. It's been one of the best vehicles I've ever owned.
Looking forward to reading about other peoples experiences. My wife has a 2014 Explorer and we've had Excursion before the Expedition and a few super duty's. Most of them have been very good, one terrible, but that's to be expected. Still like the brand.

Welcome to the forum. That's a nice looking truck. It's hard to believe it has over 200,000 miles. I have a 2003 Expy Eddie Bauer with 117,000 and it's also been a great vehicle. My 13 Navigator has 62000 miles. I've only owned it for 8 months but very good so far.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm going to keep mine until 300 hopefully, if it stays economical to do so. It runs and drives like one with 50k on it. I just had the first water pump replaced last week.

Have a Merry Christmas and great New Year!

Does yours have any paint peeling on the hood or liftgate? My liftgate is getting pretty bad but my hood is fine so far. Same year and trim, which is why I ask, though yours has about 80k more miles than mine.

Hello,

Yes mine has some bubbling paint on the rear lift. Near the chrome trim 2 areas about the size of a quarter. None on the hood.

Yep, that's exactly how mine is doing as well, but my bubbles are a bit bigger than that. One's cracked, too. :(

It's a shame that Ford never fixed that. I wonder how the 2015+ F150's will hold up in the years to come with the aluminum bed. I think it has to do with the dissimiliar metals. Mine does it around the chrome no where else.

They must have gotten better because it’s not just the bed. They do entire bodies with it now. The 2018+ is all aluminum.
