Hey guys, I am on vacation right now in Puerto Rico until the first of July, been 3 weeks already. I am ready to come home for sure.
Since I am on here right now, I have a question. Before I left for vacation, I noticed I have a oil leak coming from the P/S upper back area of the engine that...
I would not go that route as I would bet that has nothing to do with the vibration. I would be looking at a possible out of balance tire/ I usually have my tires road forced balanced and that usually is right on to the tee. Road force balancing is the only way to go with truck tires. Or...
National Highway Transportation Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) Office of Defect Investigation (ODI) announces new Recalls & Alerts:
Goodyear Tire Recall
40,000 defective Goodyear tires have been recalled for their propensity to experience a tread separation while the vehicle is in...
Well the CV axle Gremlin bit me again over the past week. I had to go out and get a new axle for the P/S this time. That makes a total of 3 shaft replacements in the past 3 months due to this TT lift. And keep in mind that I only lifted the front by 1.25" instead of full twist. The boots are at...
I agree with Dib52, I have polished up aluminum rims many of times in the past. it is alot of elbow grease involved as a drill and cone applicator and or polisher can get only so much of the open area's and spoke ports. Then it requires your elbow grease to do the rest. Mothers in my opinion is...

Well even at the Stealerships here, the rate is right at $65.00 and most of that goes to the Stealership and the tech gets half for the most part or is at a company hourly rate. And most stealership mechanics that I have ever met are book conscience and diagnostically dumb. Meaning as a...
Well that seems ridiculously high. The going labor rate here is $45.00-$50.00 a hour. So at 6 hrs and $50.00 a hr, that comes to $300.00 in labor. So with that said, the parts are going to cost an additional $625.00 to come out to $925.00. Something does not add up.
Or a bad ignition cylinder cut off swith. You may want to try before you take the key out and rotating the ignition cylinder between acc and off then take the key out. See if the same happens. If it does not, then I would be looking into a shorted or bad ignition cut off switch.
Lastest news announcement.
Penske Racing will be leaving Dodge at the year end and will be reuniting with Ford as their sponsored ride for 2013 and onward. Penske used to be with Ford in the past for almost 20 yrs, then in 2003 moved over to the Dodge stable. Penske racing as of now is the...
Knaus, has run afoul of NASCAR before.
He's been suspended four previous times, but had a two-race ban in 2005 overturned in the appeals process. His last suspension was for six weeks in 2007 when NASCAR said he had flared out the front bumpers of Johnson's car at Sonoma.
His first suspension...
Well Jimmie Johnson was penalized 25 driver points which gives him a negative 23 points and 70 points behind 1st place after just one race. That is a hugh hole to be in right off the bat. Chad Knaus is suspended for 6 races, and 100k, and so is there car engineer. This all came about due to the...
The light strip you are referring to does 2 things, it is a parking light that is shining when the lights are on and 2nd it acts as a third brake light or yet a 4th brake light as the Expy is equipped with a 3rd brake light already. I personally do not see the purpose to buy one when you can...

Really how are we to answer that? The accessories you buy and equip is because you want it, not others. If that is what you want to go for it. Other than that advise, I do not know what to say, other than you decide what you want. There are tons of aftermarket out there to choose from.
And by...
Junk yards are a good place to get them cheap. But I personally like the lighted black plastic step plates that ore OEM, they came both ways, and the plastic ones will avoid future rusting and look better than the oval tubular ones in my opinion. The lights are plug and play as your truck has...
