IMO, for $50-$75 you can get a cargo liner that also covers the rear seat tracks and you can take it out and wash it rather than hosing down the inside of the Expy:
I have done my plugs in about 3 hours and it's not that difficult.
There are only 3 threads in the head that hold the plugs, with 157K miles the probability of carbon build up on the plug threads is likely so you will need to be careful.
There is a service bulletin and procedure from Ford...
A couple of reasons they're not as bright as you may have expected is because:
- The original lenses are designed for a regular bulb, not HIDs and the focal point is different.
- The lense is diffusing, HIDs use clear lenses.
- The color temperature is 6000K, 4300K is the brightest and the same...
There should be a vacuum Evap stcker under the hood on the radiator cover.
First thing I would do is check your gas cap to make sure it is sealling properly.
Secondly, after driving the truck, when you first turn it off remove the gas cap, if it hisses/release pressure your canister vent is...
Me too, I never had any problems until I washed the motor and got water down in the #4 hole. Got the check engine light, missing a 1 cylinder; a COP replacement, CEL reset and I was good to go. Haven't washed the engine since.
From the photo it appears as if you need a drop hitch.
The rear of the truck is down and the trailer tongue is still up.
IMO, trying to hold 65mph on a 6K incline is a bit optimistic.
None at all, I took 1 power steering bracket off at the front of the engine.
The COP's are the most difficult and a little frustrating but the plugs were pretty easy.
I used a 1/4" drive and lots of different adapters, swivels, u-joints etc. to take out the COP holddown screws.
I've had a total of 2 coils go out in 120000 miles and just did plugs about a month ago. If does take some patience and lots of adapters but it only took me about 2-3 hours to do all 8 plugs.
That's funny! Let's see an extra $300 for full coverage or tint the windows....apparently the wrong choice.
I had my front side windows tinted and could see through them at night,
I'm glad no one was hurt as well.
The recyclers should be able to get the parts you need including the airbags...
The higher the color number you go with, the more light you will lose in wet conditions.
The color that factory cars come with is 4300K. I tried the 5000K and they were too blue for me and went to 4300K which are perfect.
I have 35W 4300K aftermarket HIDs in my car with projector lenses and...
Best price I could find in your area was $116 for a 60,000 mile tire.

245's are too narrow and will affect your footprint and the ability to stop and turn. The ride will be harsh and it will be harder on your suspension components.
Your stock tire load rating is about 2337 lbs per tire which is a 9348 lb total vehicle weight.
IMO you should stick to the stock...
My Expy came with 255's and when Ford had the Firestone issue I changed to 265's and now I am now running Michelin 275/70-16's.
With the 275's my speedo reads about 2-3 mph low at 65mph.
The 275's are noticeably heavier and create more suspension bounce with all that unsprung weight. I use...
