#1 COP would be my first guess. I don't have COP's on mine, but from what I've heard from others, you can try swapping a coil from another plug to see if that is the problem. Then if it is, I recommend changing all 8 out since the rest will probably soon be on their way.

installed a new COP on cyl #1 today and the Expy is running great. Thanks for the help. I did however look at what it would take to replace plugs and COP's through out and I have to say I have NO idea how to do the rear two on each side. Whomever can do that must be commended for patience and dexterity.

I've had a total of 2 coils go out in 120000 miles and just did plugs about a month ago. If does take some patience and lots of adapters but it only took me about 2-3 hours to do all 8 plugs.

dougmcp.....I assume you had to disconnect numeros hoses and wiring to get to the rear plugs.

None at all, I took 1 power steering bracket off at the front of the engine.
The COP's are the most difficult and a little frustrating but the plugs were pretty easy.
I used a 1/4" drive and lots of different adapters, swivels, u-joints etc. to take out the COP holddown screws.
