    Smaller Wheels for Softer Ride

Which still places looks over ride quality. Seems backwards to me.

    Android Auto Steering Wheel Controls

Your 2025 Expedition has the Ford Digital Experience which uses Android Automotive. I don't think that's the same as a 2024 or earlier Expedition with Sync4 connected to Android Auto (no "motive").

    Smaller Wheels for Softer Ride

The old man in me (I'm 67) just shakes my head when I read comments like this. Unless your friends are riding in your vehicle with you, their opinions don't matter. You can't see your wheels while you are bumping along in a vehicle with poor ride quality. My Limited has the factory 22s and I...

Finding a good dealership for service

There's always the problem of dealerships who tell you "If you can't give us a 5-star review, let us know." Maybe some of those positive reviews come from people who initially couldn't give a 5-star review, but let the dealership address the problem. In those cases, I wish the reviewer would say so.

Finding a good dealership for service

Online reviews from Google and other sources can tell you quite a bit about a dealership. Watch the dates of the reviews to see if opinions have changed over time. There's also an online service called DealerRater (https://www.dealerrater.com/) that aggregates online reviews. I take all online...

    Turn off lane center

    From the owners manual:

    Turn off lane center

    That's the traction control button.

    removing CCD

Dodge Durango SRT 392 and Hellcat allow this. In the custom drive mode, you have individual control of transmission shift points, all-wheel drive front/rear bias, stability control response, suspension stiffness, and steering ratio. I think throttle response is controllable, too.

    2025 Expedition Platinum Ultimate (Plus)

Does yours have 24 inch wheels? If so, there's a Special Service Message about tire flat spotting. Looks like the only remedy is to tell the customer to change their driving habits until the problem goes away, though there is one mention of replacing the tires...

Circle patch roof of my expedition !?

Rugged Radios, who caters to the off-road crowd, sells these disks for mounting antennas on aluminum or fiberglass roofs. https://www.ruggedradios.com/products/uni-mag-mounting-plate

On my 2024, both sides operate together.

What is the optimal oil change interval?

Myself, along with several others here, use Blackstone, but there are other labs. Find one you like and stick with them. Here's a report on my Expedition at 3700 miles:

    Over active running boards

From the 2024 owner's manual. Apparently, there's no way to adjust the length of "Auto Timer".

    Max or non-Max?

Seems like a simple question. How many people do you need to carry and how much luggage/stuff will they bring with them? Four adults with luggage for a long weekend at a hotel or resort would fit in a non-Max. Four adults going camping for a week would probably need a Max.

Water in the reflector assembly - not covered by warranty???

Dodge Durango all over again. Dodge is very proud of the "race track" lamp on the rear of Durangos. But, it's well known in the Durango community that the lamp assembly leaks. And, when waters gets in, eventually a segment of the lamp fails. There's even a thread in one of the Durango forums...

How To: Center Console Refrigerator Install

When this refrigerator came to light a few months ago, I wondered what happens when the vehicle's engine is shut off. Does the refrigerator keep running (cycling) and keep the contents cold? Would the vehicle's battery management system eventually cut power to the refrigerator in an effort to...

What is the optimal oil change interval?

When you are thanking the Ford engineers for their brilliant logic of specifying 10,000 mile oil change intervals, ask them if "reduced maintenance costs" or "low hydrocarbon usage" were more of a factor in their decision than "increased reliability". Since we all feel confident that "increased...

    Unknown center console feature

Seems like some of the YouToobers who got to see pre-production models mentioned that as a tablet holder for the rear seat passengers.

    4th Gen brakes

The GT500 also has sporting pretensions so Brembos are as much of an appearance upgrade as a performance upgrade. My Durango was an R/T (5.7 liter HEMI, 360 HP) with what Dodge called the "Tow-N-Go" package. The package consisted most of the performance stuff from a Durango SRT (6.4 liter HEMI...

    No-drill Front License Bracket

The first one was popular with the Durango crowd, though I never purchased one. The advantage to it is that the plate is removable which might be important if you take your vehicle to car shows. OTOH, it may also be way too easy to steal your plate from the first one.

What is the "Family Travel Package?"

Where did you see this? There's no mention of Family Travel Package in the 2025 Expedition Order Guide.

They tried talking me out of waiting but I said I can work remotely and I’m not leaving today without it, DAMMIT! Fixed it for you.
