I have a 2023 Expy Limited SPP with the large Synch screen.
I am planning to add a backup camera to my RV trailer. Is there any way I can get the feed from the additional camera on to my synch screen? Like some sort of AUX input?
Thanks in advance.
(2023 Expy Limited SPP)
Sometimes when I start the truck and it connects to my cell it tells me that 911 assistance is disabled. How do I enable it?!?!?
I have searched EVERY tab and setting on the display I can find. I have the user manual as a PDF and tried searching for how to turn it on...
I have a 2023 Expy SPP. Sometimes when I try to use Alex to set a navigation point I get "this operation requires connected services". The problem is I ALREADY HAVE CONNECTED SERVICES.
It is intermittent. Sometimes it works, sometimes I get the message.
What could be causing this? It seems...
I agree.
That said the dry weight is important to me for one reason. I need to be able to roll this around with a trailer dolly. I can pull the gear out and drain the clean water tank if I must.
My driveway is too narrow and surrounded by rough ground to turn around with it attached to a...
Cars used for sport driving like the GT500 have to contend with brake fade caused by repeated heavy braking and heat build up. That is not the anticipated used case of a 5500 pound SUV :)
Fair, but I camp alone or with just the wife, so I have an entire expedition to pack stuff in. I don't need to load the trailer too heavy. But a fair point.
I thought it was unsafe or at least unwise to exceed the GVW anyway?
I camp festivals mostly, so ymmv
Right now I have a sylvantSport Go (tent on a trailer). I wanted more room, easier setup and tear down, and more features.
I am constrained by a small driveway so I need something I can move by hand on a level surface (no room to turn around)
The aliner...
Fair enough. I am considering an Aliner Evolution 15
Dry weight 2,400 lbs
GVWR 3,500 (I doubt I would pack 1,000 pounds in it!)
Two beds, stove, microwave, toilet, heat, ac, and even a shower.
This year I am upgrading my "tent on a trailer" to a better RV. The RV will be 3,000 - 3,400 lbs GROSS vehicle weight max.
I have a 2023 Limited SPP with the tow package. Would I need/want a weight distributing hitch for a trailer under 3,500 pounds? The trailer has brakes and a 7 pin connector.
I have the same issue. (2023 Limited SPP) Looks like chrome "tape" bubbling off of the underlying plastic. It was that way when new, and has gotten a little worse with time.
I just came back from the dealer and they are ordering the parts under warranty.
SO CHEAPLY MADE
This drives me nuts. They are so aggressive in closing that each door means an up down cycle. I usually put my stuff in the back seat (down up) then get in the front door (down up)
After removing the cover a few times it does get easier. I put a little silicon lube on the tabs you need to push. That helped. I also use a plastic trim prying tool to help pull the cover out while pushing the bumper trim the other way.
That's where I ended up. Sort of. I bought a solar panel and a Battery Tender brand solar battery charging module. I was hoping for a more convenient solution but this seems to work.
Yeah, I thought about adding a battery switch, but there are specific warnings in the manual about waiting before disconnecting power. It seems like asking for trouble.
I guess I'll have to live with my solar cell system.
