Yes, the limited gets led headlights and fog lights and tail lights as well. There’s not one incandescent bulb in either the front or rear.

I know the reverse light is halogen but the headlights I glanced at but it almost didn't seem to be led. The fogs didn't seen led either. I'm not around the truck to go look to confirm. I just bought it a couple hours ago.

Well, based on the info on Rock Auto, it says they use halogen bulbs, which is what I thought when I saw that style of reflector lens in the back part of the assembly, which is similar to what is in my '011, even though I replaced the bulbs (everywhere) with LED's....

NOTE: Those blacked-out assemblies are new, I installed them about a month ago, as I am slowly working on the same "chrome delete" project that some other folks here are doing with the vinyl wrap & some other mods...:D

I like those blacked out lights . My f150 has the black insides but the reflector around bulb is chrome and the lens over whole light is clear. I love my f150 lights. I'm not a huge fan of chrome anymore myself. When I was younger chrome everywhere. But I started driving in the 90's and well that was it lowriders and chrome. Lol

The tag lights and reverse lights are halogen, but very easily changeable. Backup LEDs make all the difference in the world brightness wise. And the tag lights really light up the back area.

Yeah we got home maybe 30 mins before dark with it yesterday and I was out there taking off all dealership advertising and replaced my reverse lights with led. Only reason I didn't change tag lights is because I didn't have any but they are already ordered. Lol.

Yep, I changed those also, at the same time when I installed the 1st set of LED headlight bulbs several years ago, and WOW what a huge difference they made, especially when I back into my driveway at night, where I absolutely MUST have a clear view of how close I am to the garage door :D

Looks great. For me, the tag lights also act like night lights when loading the back at night.
Yeah they do help. It's a shame they don't come with led from factory. I bought a 23 f150 and same thing. Almost embarrassing to drive around with those piss yellow lights from factory. Bulbs can't come in fast enough

I was told by Ford that they use surplus halogen on insignificant bulbs, even on Platinum models that have all LED, except backup and tag. Once they are gone, both will be LED. Even 2024 lower models like the XLT only come with LED headlights. The rest are incandescent, unless they have an upgrade package.

Except, oddly enough, the license plate light is a filament bulb.

Hah yes projector I couldn't think of that word to save my life. Lol. I'm pretty sure it'll be a halogen bulb in there. I just gotta look. It hasn't been driven at night yet so I don't even know how the lights do lighting up the road yet
