    I think I might just leave it as is...that way the media can still play with the car turned off. Everything seems to work good and the CANbus is unaffected.

    I've removed the factory overhead DVD console and would like to install an aftermarket overhead monitor with a bigger screen. The Ford harness is this 32-pin thing...and all these wires. Does anyone know which color of the wires are for the 12v+ ignition and the ground- wire?

    Problem solved: So it turns out that the shotty install by the prior owner of the old Eclipse HU did cause problems for the rear DVD functions....I replaced the HU with a new Pioneer stereo today and used the proper wiring harness kit for the Expy and all the rear DVD functions are working...

    Thanks for the tip about the 5K Ohm resistor KCAutosound...this must be the reason why the aftermarket Eclipse brand radio that is in my Expy when I acquired it does a 'pop' to the sub whenever it turns on.

    Ok, so if I wanted to install one of these guys on a 07 Expy EL with the stock Navigation CD changer radio, will it work?     The cheapest I've found is a chrome 3 inch inlet x 3.5 inch out tip on JC Whitney for $43 w/shipping. I'm not paying that much for a tip...I think I'll just live without one. Funny how a 2 3/4 inch tip at AutoZone is only $9.99 but then once you go 3" it jumps to $40.

    I'm looking for a chrome exhaust tip 3" inlet bolt-on style for my Expy...can't find'em at the local AutoZone or O'Reilly stores (the ones they carry go up to 2 3/4" wide only). eBay has some for like $40-60...not trying to pay that kind of price. Anyone got a lead on a website for "affordable"...
